“Brought my dog here & he loves it. Bacon ice cream, vanilla ice cream & blueberry ice cream he tried. Nice gear & accessories & they have tons of treats you can get in a doggy bag. A tad bit pricey but its downtown center city so prices are going to be a bit high. A small shop that speaks volumes. I recommend for anyone who wants to doggy date with their pup”

“Good experience over all. We got our puppy's first set of shots for 13.00, which is great. But you have to give the dog the shots yourself. We also got a huge bone for him to chew on. He loves it. We'll be back for our next set of shots.”

“If you have a dog, you need to get yourself here! I am so in love with this sweet shop and will be stopping by every time I am in Manayunk, which is usually with my pooch since it's on our way back from hikes at the Wissahickon. This bakery has a play area which I didn't even realize until I went to write this review, and they also have the cutest cookies, treats, accessories, and goodies for your dog. The staff here was the absolute sweetest and the vibes are just very good. My dog was so happy to be there and thoroughly enjoyed her St. Paddy's Day "lucky" cookie later that day. They were having a dog party later in the day, replete with doggie beer (LOL) treats, and playtime. I am so happy to know this business exists and will absolutely be getting my dog's birthday cakes and treats from here moving forward. An excellent addition to the already very dog-friendly Manayunk. Feel free to replicate my new dream Saturday: long hike at the Wiss, brunch on a patio, and a stop by this awesome shop. Tell your dog I say hi!”

From the awesome owner and her store kitty Boo, to the adoptable rescue cats in the window, to the loyalty program with many brands that save you so much money, it's just the best. Dogs always get a complimentary treat at the register when they come in. The treats available are so diverse and it's great to try something new with my pets every couple weeks. The staff is very helpful and kind, and it is overall just a priceless staple of the neighborhood. I highly recommend stopping by, even if you don't have a pet! Because they have rescue cats in the window that you can pet and bond with (thanks to Greenstreet Rescue) and lots of great stock to get a gift for a pet owner in your life. Definitely check them out, I love this place.”
“I love coming to City of Paws Pet Care for the self- wash. The staff are very kind and helpful throughout the session. I love how you pay based on the time you spent in the baths. This is helpful for me because I will overestimate how much time it will take to wash my large dog in the event she is not as cooperative as I would hope.”
“Came in today seeking much needed help because my one cat stopped using the litterbox due to stress from my recent move. 2 wonderful individuals helped me locate several products to encourage my stubborn feline to start using the litter box again. Immediately after getting home and setting everything up the mission was extremely successful! The team members in this facility are extremely educated and helpful and I am very thankful and grateful for the information they shared with me! My cat is back to using the litter box and seems much more calm and comfortable! I absolutely love this pet store and the workers and they’ve definitely made me a life long customer!!!”

“Place was AWESOME!!! Staff was super friendly, knowledgeable n jus all around good people! Store was neat, clean n well stocked n kept.. All the animals there were all very well taken care of cages/ tanks/ terrariums all clean ,fresh water n food... definitely would recommend this place to anyone... “Hometown pet store with plenty of pet goodies. From foods to baths to beds and carriers. I stopped by just to see the variety. They do have small pet foods for Chinchilla's, hamsters and guinea pigs, as well as a variety of fish for your aquarium and aquarium decorations. Friendly staff as well.”

“I recently moved to this neighborhood and discovered Anima just down the block from my new digs. Not long after, my cat disappeared and I stopped in to ask them if they would display a missing cat poster. Not only did they prominently display the poster at their cash register and another one on their front door, but they referred me to an Instagram page where missing pets are announced and they gave me some helpful tips on coaxing her back home. Every time I shop there, I am met with friendly, helpful staff. And bonus to those paying with cash, because they will give you a nice discount!! “We had a wonderful first grooming of our rescue dog. I am so glad I found a groomer that does not crate with caring and loving staff. My dog was a little shaky when we went in, since he's a bit shy at new places/ with new people. When I went to pick him up , he was as happy as can be and looked so handsome! He is a very happy boy! “I am so thrilled that my neighbor recommended Lucky Dogz to me, when I adopted my rescue dog. Elizabeth and Paul are phenomenal dog people. They know what they are doing, and they do it well. Their staff is wonderful too -- my dog is safe and well looked after when I leave him here, and he is free within reasonable limits to explore and to socialize as much as he wants. This place is really excellent. The prices are reasonable, and I've even left him for overnight boarding, which is also well priced. I cannot believe our great fortune to have found lucky dogz!”
