PARENTS AND DOG OWNERS BEWARE!!!! My daughter was an employee at lucky dogz and was bit by a dog, fired and blamed for getting bit. They refused to give me the dog that bit her shot records which I needed to take the er to prevent her from getting unnecessary series of rabies shots. I had to contact the Springfield police department for assistance. Yes, I know it's probably hard to believe that I would have to go to these lengths. The police were able to get the records and give them to me. The owners never once asked me if my daughter was ok. Instead I was asked did she finish her shift. These owners have no regards for humans or animals.

Applied for a part time job here and was met with such rudeness from the owner. I’m happy I was not brought in for an interview between that and these reviews. Professionalism is so important when it comes to small businesses and this place seems to lack it.

About a month ago my dad scheduled boarding for November 4th. They quoted him a price for one night. They made him pay in advance but charged him about double. We canceled with 3 days notice because of the facility's conditions and the limited pick up times and they refused to give us a refund. They were horribly rude and unprofessional. We would never go near that place again. Stay away!! They're crazy! Also, the owner will probably say something like "this person was never here" or "your name looks fake" but this absolutely did happen and my name can be whatever I want on the internet so that's a ridiculous response.

As someone who used to work here, don’t send your dog here. It can be an okay place, but dog fights happen way too often. If you think you have a relationship with the owners, you don’t. They have cold heartedly fired long term employees, and unacknowledged the loss of long term customers and their dogs. Most of the dogs are great with the exception of a few that will most definitely start a fight with your dogs. The evaluations are a joke, as all dogs seem to be accepted, they don’t even follow their own guidelines for the evals. Little dogs are often put with the big dogs, which might be fine but not when you have high prey drive dogs in the same group. This place is unsafe, and unsanitary. Don’t be fooled by the cheaper prices, what you pay for is what you get. I have scars from this place due to breaking up dog fights. They also give absolutely no incentive to stay, they’d rather keep hiring mediocre people who have 0 dog experience, is scared of the dogs, and have no common sense than give a decent raise or at the very least tell workers they’re doing good. I used to like it at lucky dogz, but it’s just gone downhill which is quite sad considering what it could’ve been with the right direction and management.

I am so thrilled that my neighbor recommended Lucky Dogz to me, when I adopted my rescue dog. Elizabeth and Paul are phenomenal dog people. They know what they are doing, and they do it well. Their staff is wonderful too -- my dog is safe and well looked after when I leave him here, and he is free within reasonable limits to explore and to socialize as much as he wants. This place is really excellent. The prices are reasonable, and I've even left him for overnight boarding, which is also well priced. I cannot believe our great fortune to have found lucky dogz!

Great place to board your pup and take for daily doggie care. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space, they actively play with the dogs, and my dog comes comes home exhausted every time.

A terribly unsafe environment for your dog and just generally unprofessional. From my time being here I have seen injured dogs at least once every month which alone says that there are little safety measures in place for their workers let alone your pets. Most of the workers are inexperienced young high schoolers who are left to watch after a group of 30 so dogs ALONE I have seen many dogs here injured but any reviews called out on this fact are hit with animosity by who I assume to be ken. I have seen dogs who don't get along together or are sick put together in a group and the employees just being left to sort it out themselves. This place has no order as you can see just by entering the place not only is the aesthetic bad the merchandise isn't even a single price?? I have seen a single ball of the same brand and design no difference range from 4 dollars to 6.99?? Who is listing the prices for these items?? and not only that but the food products there are left for ages untouched before they are sold with little quality control put in place. To put it simply DO NOT bring your dog here it is not a safe environment and with the way the business is run it shouldn't be supported.I do expect a response along the lines of "you've never been here", "This is untrue" or for this to simply just be taken down but I urge any readers to reconsider your doggy daycare choice!!!

My dog absolutely loves her time at Lucky Dogz. When she hears those words in the morning she gets so excited to put on her leash and head to day care. She comes back home happy and tired after a day of playtime.

If there was a 0 out of 5 star rating option, this review would have that for this horrid place. What use to be a fun, calming place to work with cool people and dogs has turned out to be a complete terrible nightmare. The owner shows *inappropriate* favoritism to a specific male employee. She also seems to rather lose great employees as oppose to getting rid of troublesome employees who have parasitic traits. If you get on her bad side, she will completely ignore you and hate your guts! If you ever have a problem with anyone here, don’t expect for it to be resolved, for they will do nothing. They also seem to hire just about anyone as long as they have arms and legs it seems. No actual care for detail or animals, and no professionalism. They had a fight happen on work premises for crying out loud! Police arrived and everything. If humans can’t even get it together with each other, what makes you think they would with your precious dog(s)? Absolutely disgusting behavior all around!-Former WorkerEdit (8/15): Yes, this is regarding two years ago. This is the review I made right after I quit due to Elizabeth allowing Ken to continuously disrespect me and my partner, thus allowing a harmful work environment. (Conveniently my review was taken down almost immediately, but I noticed now I’m allowed to resubmit it.) Ken did not approve of me allowing him to steal dogs from my group (ones that did not mingle with others he had-mind you). He then felt it necessary to curse at me. Because of Elizabeth’s inappropriate relationship with Ken, nothing was done. In fact, she made it a point to instigate, say my partner was the problem (not at all true-Ken always started something) and even went to great depths to ignore my presence. I only wish for the truth of this horrid place to be told to all dog owners. If this and the many 1 star reviews can even remotely alter anyone’s thinking and make them avoid this place-I will count that as a win. Anyone willing to treat past or current employees like this has no business caring for your furry companions.

There is better places around than this . Just to tell you the people who run this place are a joke . My nephew’s dog got terribly injured under their care , they didn’t give him a call or anything . Imagine picking up your fur baby from doggie day care straight to see the vet . On top of all that , their response was so insensitive and unprofessional . I would give them zero stars if I could .

We have used Lucky Dogz for over a year. The staff is very courteous. They are efficient in bringing your dog in and out. Our dog loves the play time. We have also used them for boarding.

My dog (Twinkle) stayed at Lucky Dogz while I went on vacation and not onlycame back with led poisoning but also had lost a tooth. I called the office many times and either no one answered or the manager was extraordinarily rude. I asked for her to pay for the blood work, the surgery, or even just to apologize to Twinkle but she refused and said, “She’s just a dog.” For a company that takes care of dogs I was astonished to hear her say that. I. AM. NEVER. BRINGING. TWINKLE. BACK. The treatment me and Twinkle received was atrocious, I will never be leaving my dog in the hands of Lucky Dogz again. Twinkle and I want justice!Update: The response I received from the owners was ridiculous. Instead of apologizing for the MANY issues they instead tried to gaslight me. Feel free to use lucky dogs overall it’s an alright place but the management is horrendous. I would like the business so much more if the managers acted like mature adults.
