Love this place. It's not often anymore you find such kind, professional, and downhome customer service. Everyone there is so kind. Once going to the post office was a dreaded thing--not anymore. Kudos Wyncote Post Office!

This particular post office takes me back to a simpler time. It’s a very small old fashion post office. It closes for lunch between 12:30pm-1pm. It’s basically run my one person who is very knowledgeable and friendly. The post office boxes are the old fashion style with a small glass window and a combination dial. The parking is decent and it’s never busy. I would highly recommend this location.

Please DON’T expect them to open up at 9am on a Saturday morning. You’ll be waiting. Another mail carrier came and accidentally set off the alarm thinking that the workers were there which they should have been. Worst experience ever. Punctuality is a must especially in this line of business.

While away on vacation I received a certified package. I was left a final notice for the item on Saturday at 4pm. The post office was already closed by then. I work in a hospital 7-330pm and relief is rarely on time. I arrived at the post office at 4:05. Although the employee was still inside at the counter and had "just closed up" I was unable to retrieve the certified item. I understand opening and closing times but no help 5 minutes after closing is simply apathetic. I'm hoping it will still be available to pick up tomorrow but I will have to race the clock again to attempt to get it.

This place is a treasure, the employees are very responsive and knowledgeable. Fast in and out parking is good. Sometimes I wonder why others bother to leave the reviews they do, the one star reviews are petty, in that the first is complaining about the hours not fitting their schedule? My local post office in Glenside has a terrible parking lot set up, and because it is so busy long lines and wait times are to be expected. Most times I get the feeling the employees would rather I had not bothered them.

I'm here at 9:28 AM on Saturday to pick up a certified letter and there's no one here. What a waste of resources. Whoever is supposed to be here is probably still getting paid while they're not here doing their job. UGH
