“Cute little small town grocer that's been around forever. Nice little stop but won't be the cheapest. Check out the sandwiches by the deli, and the cold salads. Nice to have a shop near a little town especially with dollar stores lurking.”
“Sometimes a little hard to find what you're used to shopping for but if you want a quick alternative to the overwhelming WalMart noise and options you'll save time and money going here. Only complaint is I frequently want to buy only a few items, but get stuck waiting in a long line for a single cashier.”

“Dollar general is a nice store. They have just about everything you need. I like the products too. The prices are reasonable as well. What bothers me though, in every single store in this particular chain in my area, the isles are overcrowded with items and you can't get through. It looks messy and unkempt. It's also a safety hazard. My suggestion is to always remove ladders during working hours. Create a better shelving display so that items aren't on the floor and customers can actually view the products. What frustrates me the most is when I'm waiting and calling out for a cashier to help check me out. I also don't like when employees get snippy. I understand they get understaffed but you don't take it out on the customers. I believe one cashier should stay behind the counter at all times. Finally, never disrespect an employee by chastising them in front of customers. This causes humiliation with your employees and it makes management look bad. If you have an issue, wait until you have a free moment and take them to a private place where you can calmly explain what it is they are doing wrong. It's not very professional to lose your cool with an employee in front of customers. That is just poor work ethic.”

“I recommend taking a look at the variety of fruits and vegetable that the DG market has to offer. While you are shopping, never feel like a burden to ask where something is or if it might be in the back stock room. The DG market employees will gladly help you and direct you to the exact location that the product you are looking for will be.”
“I come to this area from downtown a few times per year and stop here often. It's easy to get to from the road. It's never very packed. The lines are never that long. They have a nice deli, bakery and more. I like it!”

I thought they forgot to put an item in my bag and he was going to give me the price of the item off my next visit. “A good variety and amount of products and seasonal items, low prices and clearance items. Safety measures followed. However a lot of the shelves (and less commonly purchased items) are extremely dusty and very unappealing, it makes the rest of the store seem unkempt.”
