Our home was started in November of 2019 and we were expected to move in May of 2020. Unfortunately Covid hit and our home construction was shut down for 7 weeks. While this was very disappointing, none of it was the fault of Fine Line Homes. From start to finish all the folks from Fine Line were topnotch, went above and beyond and were very accessible. George, Steve, Steve, Barb, Ron and Gloria all made our experience a pleasant one. We took the Hudson floor plan, made alterations to fit our needs and we couldn't love it any more. The fact that Fine Line Homes will make alterations to their floor plans puts them head and shoulders above other home builders. We are very pleased with the high quality of our home for the most part. In hindsight, we wish we had upgraded the paint. We are not fans of flat paint. Our yard needed some extra love from TRUGREEN and unfortunately, our tree died and will need to be replaced. With all the things we absolutely love about our new home, the biggest disappointment is our living room carpet. Our home isn't even a year old and our living room carpet looks terrible. With Covid, we've had few visitors and we even take our shoes off when walking on it. It's almost like there is no padding underneath. We are not ones who like to complain so let us just say, overall, Fine Lines Homes is definitely a business we would highly recommend to our friends and family.

My husband and I have been 3-time return customers to Fine Line Homes since 2000. We have had nothing but good experiences with everyone from the contractor, salesman, up to final closing. We have had small issues after construction and all issues were fixed within in a matter of days. Fine Line Homes has always been kind and courteous. Our most recent home was built in 2017 and Fine Line consultant Joe N****** was an absolute pleasure to work with all the way down to matching the countertops with the floor coverings. Fine Line Homes has given us satisfaction, the best price, and best quality overall... We highly recommend anyone to contact them for your first or next home.

We built our home in 2019 with Fine Line and it was the best decision we ever made. The were very responsive to all question and concerns we raised during the construction process. There were several different items we stated were not to expectation or what we had agreed to and outlined during the start of build. Each time, they were receptive and response to our items and made changes accordingly. There were no surprises during the build, unexpected expenses, unexpected changes, etc. We did our six and twelve month walk throughs and had many adjustments to make. Fine Line stepped up and corrected these items without hesitation. They have been a great company to work with and would absolutely build with them again.

I just got done reading the reviews below and I am in shock to the concerns described and the 1 star ratings. My wife and I built our home with Fineline in 2018-19 and I have to tell you that we did not experience any issues that would give them a 1 start and we would use them as a builder again. The building process was explained to us up front and I must say Pat was wonderful to work with. Fineline allowed us to make adjustments to the floor plans of course at a cost or credit depending on the change. As for the building process the excavating was done very well and it saved me from having a sewage pump put in the basement. (poor your walls, old school but still best) The builders (amish) were dedicated and on point. I actually had the chance to watch them build a new house behind us and the level of attention to detail was unbelievable. They made sure all boards were not warped prior to nailing them in. Unfortunately, the building process for us took much longer then expected but I would rather wait for quality than have something built in 3 months and leaking a week later. Keep in mind that was during non covid when construction was shut down by the Governor. As for wind blowing and seal issues, I came every day to check on the subs and they went above and beyond. every joist and circuit was foam sealed. My house is as tightly sealed as can be, as for sound in my vents , yes I get them during a strong wind but I am assured that they were well built. I also live in a windy neighborhood. Prior to the carpet being installed Ron and Gloria must have walked on every floor board a 1000 times to make sure none made noise. To this date we have no issues and if I did I feel Fineline would still fix even it is beyond our 12 month punch list. I would suggest that anyone that builds insulate their garage walls and ceilings and I am glad we did. Any issues we had during the 6 month and 12 month punch list were all identified and fixed in a timely manner and that included replacing my basement carpet that was incorrectly installed by the contractor, some warped exterior vinyl and tweaks. Our wood work was well done, the HVAC runs great, and my house is very well insulated, I just cant imagine Fineline taking short cuts at other properties. Not for the amount money the house costs. If there was any criticism I had it was with the poor quality dirt that was used to make my yard. It was poorly filtered and the amount of rocks in it, made it impossible to grow grass and cost me about $500 to have resolved. Overall I would still use finalize to build a house but not to do my yard. Nic and Lisa B.

We are basically happy with the construction of our house...I believe that there were areas that should have been caulked such as areas around tubs and toilets.. Also, like mentioned in a couple reviews our floors were not secured very good and they are very creaky... Both on the first floor and the second floor..We had Shawn come out once to work on the issue but there are several locations. I have tried to fix the first floor some from the basement but still not good and the second floor cannot be done by me... Also, we were told that there was no need to upgrade the carpet we chose since it was a good carpet... Before the 1 year was up, we had to have the carpet guys back to stretch the carpet in almost every room. I also just stretched the carpet in 2 rooms last week which were not done by the carpet guys 1+ years ago.. I purchased a stretcher to do it myself...Also had 3-4 cracks in the foundation with 1 of them letting in water to the inside basement...

We love our Fine Line Home! The plans were easily adaptable to our wants and needs. The staff was great to work with, always available via phone or email. We enjoyed meeting and working with all the sub-contractors. Easily would have been in our home in the 6 month time frame had it not been for Covid restrictions. After a 7 week shut down the trim crew was back at work and very respectful of the new protocols that had been put in place. I would encourage anyone to build with Fine Line Homes.
