Cameron Bobbett, the er “dr” who saw my daughter last night in the er was the most condescending, rude and overall just uncaring “dr” I’ve ever seen. Treated my daughters dad and I like we were idiots because we don’t have medical training. Wanted to send her home without doing any testing whatsoever, I had to demand blood work and other scans. I will never go to Windber again because of him. Also it was disgusting in that er, so dirty and old.

Been there 3 times for 3 different reasons. Always friendly and professional. Clean. In and out quickly . They all listen to our concerns, and make helpfully suggestion. Appreciate them. Would recommend.

One thing I really disliked is the past 3 times I came here I wasn't allowed to go back with my wife. She has a learning disability and doesn't remember medical stuff very well. She was scared and wanted me back there and they wouldn't let me go back. Connemaugh does let me go back every time. I explain why I need to come back but they say they don't have room. I can't sit in a chair in a room just to help her out with questions? I can understand if I was her friend or boyfriend but we are married.

Few months ago, but I had pneumonia. Could not breathe whatsoever at 1am, went to the er. Got chewed out by multiple staff members for not taking a covid test before I went (at 1 am, all shops were closed and when youre struggling to breathe it's not your first thought, funnily enough) drew blood, took 3 people to get the IV in right over a course of 10 minutes as I was actively in one of the machines. Did NOT give me a room for FIVE hours until they heard me talking to my mom on the phone. Instead I was made to sit in the room with the blood pressure machine and computer beside check in. Again, 5 hours. Only after they figured out I had pneumonia they stopped bitching at me, which didn't do much because I was given breathing treatments that kept coming undone from the metal canister and no one would listen to me when I said the tube came off multiple times. I'd have concerns, it'd be brushed off. Horrid experience. For the love of God PLEASE go somewhere else. Nurse was unprofessional, heard them talking about other patients as well, not in a treatment way. She was an old lady, I don't remember her name. Another nurse claimed she got me a room all by herself!! after they heard me on the phone with my mom and tell her I didn't get a room and was made to sit in that little blood pressure room the entire five hours. I had a room for about 20 minutes, during which my doctor said to finish an iv bag they gave me. The nurse sent me off without it being finished.

they dont care if you having kidney pain nausea they dont care they wanted to do the same test as conamaugh which was the more expensive testa. ct and blood work i needed an ultrasound and blood work i had a 8mm stone 4 months ago didnt feel it pass or nothing didnt see it in the tiolet either well now its gone and there is a 2mm were is the 8mm i am nauseas having flank pain in my kidneys when i walk i feel like i am going to faint but its ct scan ct scan with them its supposed to be ultrasound when your dealing with a stuck kidney stone in your bladder or urthera going to somerset but avoid this hospital cause apparently feeling faint nausea and none of what is going on with me is serious apparently

My husband was seen in the ER, during this visit we were in and out within maybe 30 minutes most of which was in the waiting period, not an issue. once back to be seen, they walked in misdiagnosed within seconds, and sent us out with no testing or anything thinking it would get better, it got worse and spread further come to find out it was a serious infection and required treatment and antibiotics had they just done a simple test more than just push us out in a quick hurry it wouldn’t have spread. Very upset and disappointed on how it was handled and assure after many follow up questions to the diagnosis were basically shut down to nothing, when it was I fact something.

After months and months, hundreds of dollars wasted, rescheduled gastric bypass surgery appointments after another, I got told today for the last and final time that my surgery was going to be rescheduled again. Well, I don't think so. Moon Quit. Rescheduled. Anesthesiology scheduled screwed up, rescheduled. Lose 9 more pounds. Did it, rescheduled, told to lose 5 more pounds today and was being rescheduled Villa Nueva or how ever you spell it, thanks for wasting my time and my money and countless hours missed at work. I'm done. I'm not being treated like common trash when I work hard and do everything asked, spending $50 per appointment just to be told next time, next time, next time, so on and so forth while some welfare bum gets to get everything and anything they want. I don't need Gastric Bypass Surgery to lose weight. I'll do it on my own. Glad I was able to donate hundreds and hundreds of dollars to this hospital and get nothing in return. After I hear how great this new doctor is, how great the surgery will go, guaranteed surgery for October 23rd 2024, and boom, pretty much lied to. Go to conemaugh or IRMC for your Gastric Bypass. Don't waste your time here. No wonder Dr. Moon up and quit and went to a better hospital to do his work. He's in somerset I heard now if you want a good doctor to do it who actually gives a crap about his patients.

Pretty sad when you show up with an issue and all the staff is worried about is why you decide to come here and whether or not you had a ride home. Very unprofessional acting staff who seem to be annoyed every time someone comes in. Terrible experience. First and last time I will be here.

I had an x ray done and they wrote down the wrong address even though they were copying it from my PA real ID then sent my $30 copay to the wrong address 3 times then sent it to a collection agency and wanted $150, on a 3 way call with high mark and their billing department they tried to blame it on me since they never received undelivered letters back and insinuated I was lying they then refused to send another bill for $30 to the correct address so I sent them a check for $30 which they cashed but did not notify the collection agency so I continue to receive calls because of THIER mistake, avoid this side show of a hospital.

At registration an employee made me wait for her to finish her personal conversation before walking away for another 5 minutes. I got there at 8:07 and she wasn’t even done logging in to her computer until 8:17. I was so late my appointments got pushed back. I could understand if they were packed but there were only two people there and I was one of them. Unreal.

Was just at the ER the other day with my 4 yr old and the doctor said he was fine but I knew as a mother something wasn't right when I asked for a ultrasound he said it wasn't necessary. So I ended up down at his family doctor where he was taken over for a stat ultrasound. And sure enough he had something that required immediate attention and antibiotics. Needless to say I'm very upset he could of gotten very sick.

Yesterday evening was my first time ever going to Windber hospital and let’s just say I was very uneasy as I always am when going to new places… However the whole experience was great! My 3 year old was fairly sick and the nurses were amazing and the doctor was fantastic!!! She had a great time in such a cruddy time. She was full of smiles talking to the doctor and nurses after they got some medicine in her. She loved her little box that a church donates for the kids that come in it was all just a great experience and made me feel a lot better since I didn’t have to worry as much about my sick child. I could tell she was in good hands. Also wanted to add although they didn’t have any rooms open we were seen in the hall and so we were in and out a lot faster. I will from now on be going to Windber Hospital for all my er needs. I could care less about how long of a wait there is at least I know they all take their jobs seriously and truly care about their patients so to Windber Hospital thank you. ❤️ Also my 3 year old says she wants your guyses fish. ? She gave all of them names as we were leaving. ? Also huge shout out to Dr. DeLisser you were great. ?

Surgical department never answers their phones for days, Dr Tameka Scott is refusing to see me because I asked for them to fax paperwork to get second opinion now they said I can go there haven't even been to first appointment at the other place. Oh do not reschedule surgeries as a patient even if it's just a couple weeks later they won't like you anymore. Finding 4 separate problems in my stomach and then refusing to see me is extremely rude that's putting it nicely. Just do not go to windber for any surgical issues they'll let you down.
