6/16/24 love going there until The two gentlemen (kids) at the front counter said we can't leave nothin at the counter that THE ITEMS HAVE TO BE PAID AND THEN GO CONTINUE SHOPPING!. First of all you need to be educated on how to talk to grown women. They're mis-educated and misinformed we were already completed shopping the only thing my mom went back in the isle was for another bin. I sat there with the items and he kept rambling about a store policy and those are the rules. Little wet behind the ears with all that talk. Hey kid if you don't like your job leave room for someone else that wants the job. He's lucky I didn't make a big stick to the manager that had more pressing issues like getting her lunch. I get they're over worked but when you sit up at the counter area be a little kinder with your customers that like shopping there. TO GET RESPECT YOU NEED TO GIVE IT. WHEN YOU EDUCATE AND BE NICE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS THEY COME BACK.
I HOPE MANAGERS SEE AND READ THIS.

Absolutely horrible customer service. The customer is made to feel at blame when treated completely rudely due to the fact that they employ people with disabilities and "their actions may be misinterpreted. " The sales associate argued with me while making direct eye contact and lied to his manager about the situation. In all my years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum, I NEVER experienced these individuals to be rude, argumentative, or untruthful.

Store was clean and well organized. The prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly. Comparatively it’s one of the nicest Goodwill stores in the area.

They sold me a broken item and will not take it back, even for store credit. I understand "all sales final" if you just change your mind, but selling actual garbage is ridiculous. The time I was in there before, someone told me they check items like this before selling them. Apparently not and because I did not carry batteries and screw driver with me, I took their word for it, this time around. I don't want to hear "it's charity" "it's only money" or whatever. I am not there to support their charity, I am there to save money. Very disappointed. We'll go back but we'll never again buy items that require batteries.
