“I had not worn my solar battery watch for a couple of years when I found it in a drawer. Of course, it had been in the dark for years and was not running. I tried to charge it over a period of several days by placing it on the windowsill in the light. It would not charge. I contacted Leann at Time After Time and took it in to have the battery replaced. “The clerk at the store was named Jack and I'm Jill so I made a Dad joke, we bonded and I told him my husband needed a new watch band. He asked the inevitable why, and I showed him what I thought was an irreparably damaged watch. He asked if I really wanted the new watch or if it could be fixed, would I prefer that. Sure, who wouldn't, I replied. He put a pin in to reconnect the band, told me there was no charge and I left happy I went out into a horrible rainstorm, and spent the watch money on takeout!”

This is fine, but I had received a higher offer, and I was hoping that that would have at least been matched.
