I've been into this store twice, and each time I felt like I was just a bother to the two employees that work there. Asking questions or having any form of conversation was met with cold responses. They just make you feel like you're in the way. They're just not friendly at all. I'll just keep my business up the street at a much friendlier comic store. Good boxes for digging back issues, however.

Very bad place to do business with and owner seems out of touch with reality

This is the store that I go to when I have some money, a good bit of money to spend and the day off. I spend more days than earlier, searching for things, such as cars, collectibles, just about anything my brother and I can fix up and sell. For example, I found a 56 Indian scout in the backyard this girls house that I am currently dating. The whole process had me sore for days. But I can go into soy and Comiche with probably about $300 and find something really cool. That makes me really happy for a long time. I haven't been there for 2 1/2 years, due to a broken jaw, 12 teeth were broken off and the other surgeries were having to do with my neck and back. When I go in there and look around, I forget where I am and what I'm doing. I just have a wonderful time picking something up. I will stop making the mistake of buying a bunch of little things, and keep buying one or two big things. Cause that's my pleasure! Mike is a very nice guy who works there, his father Dave comes in on Saturdays and he is cool as cash and helps me pick things out, you know, make up my mind, and Jim there or James. I really can't get a read, whether he's happy or not. It would be good for me if he was but when he's not, it's very easy to tell. It is source, so who cares, did you like the carpet on fire if he wants he runs down there! I want to start going more often, but it's like a reward to myself, so I have to be careful that goes too often. Great place if you like seeing all your childhood toys and being able to buy them the good ones! I've only been to one other comic book shop, that was almost as cool as toy and comic heaven but unfortunately it's in another state out west. I'm not going out west for another six months, so maybe I'll stop in and say hello but say I was there, so might as well load my money here. Instant gratification is better than getting what you want in the mail, so I recommend you go there and buy something to make yourself happy like I do......... Good luck to everybody. Hope you get the day you're looking for. I seem to always miss it but I'm always happy with what I get.............. Michael Hellwert P.S. I bought a lot more stuff at this store than my picture show. I just don't feel like taking through every last part of where I keep everything but I could take pictures all day of stuff I bought at Toy and comic heaven......

We always find what we are looking for. I take my 7 and 15 year old there. 3 stars because the people that work there are MISERABLE! Smile. Chat. Or at least answer questions without making customer feel like they are bothering you.

Went in to look for pokemon cards but honestly probably wouldve been better off going to retreatcost in penndel. Sure they have a pretty big selection of singles but everything that is marked is usually a lot over what it should sell for, asked the guy at the counter if there were wiggle room with the prices and he said he couldn't adjust the prices. I ended up putting back a bunch of cards cuz I didn't want to pay an extra 5-10 bucks on cards that are absolutely worth only a couple bucks. Also everything in their pokemon cards section is so disorganized I felt awkward cuz i spent like 20-30 minutes digging through their cards cuz everything was in weird spots

They have a pretty good selection of vintage figures and comics. The employees are kinda hit and miss with their helpfulness. Prices are pretty high.

One time I bought a DS and an incompatible charger. Didn't realize it until I got home. I made my way back up there and wanted to exchange the incompatible charger for a new one. The clerk was rude and said I needed a receipt. Then I said, "Well can I get some money off of this charger that I don't want?" He still won't budge. It is their to tell me if I'm making a mistake. Avoid this store at all costs.

Everytime I go in the store I want to leave as soon as I see the kid at the register, super rude and doesn’t even have the courtesy to greet you when you walk in. I spent 200$ on trading cards in here and couldn’t even get the guy to look up from what he was doing, felt like I was getting rushed the entire time, and didn’t even get a thank you for spending so much. Jim is nice, as is the other owner who’ve I only met once, but the dude that’s working register is a liability to your business. Games are apparently all tested, got a gamecube and resident evil 4 on ps2, gamecube was gross and sticky on the inside and I had to buy a Gamebit screwdriver to actually CLEAN it like it should’ve been in the first place, buttons sticking and all. resident evil 4 didn’t even play I had to get it cleaned at gamejunkie. Will not go back and will tell my friends to go elsewhere.

I hit up the shop when I'm down that way and thier open, so once every few month. It'd been a while since I had the chance. Today I inquired about some accessories in the case. The employee said it wasn't priced. And began to put it back, saying it probably went with something. Even though there were none of the figures for the accessories were present. I asked if there was a way to find out. He said nah, they may have went with something that was sold and they forgot to give them with it...that screams poor customer service. He proceeded to toss them back in the case and close it up. Talk about money walking out the door. Don't have the time for customers, and have no interest in helping them. I did buy a fair priced item I wanted but gladly would have added to the purchase.

Best store for vintage star wars stuff! You pay for what it's worth so you really don't have to worry about being ripped off or the owner being greedy. I go to a lot of comic and collectibles shops and this one is in my top 4.

Have been there twice, the young guy working there in glasses makes the experience so uncomfortable. Does not acknowledge you when you walk in, no other customers are in the store, when you ask to see items, he does not speak, but sighs like you are an inconvenience, disrupting him from doing nothing. The first visit, i was so turned off that i did not buy anything, so lost sale for horrid customer service. Decided to go again months later (yesterday) on a Saturday hoping there would be different staff and it was just the same awkward guy. I decided to try this again and asked to look at some highly priced vintage starwars figures. Same non acknowledgement and dead silent interaction, or lack thereof. Looked at 5 figures over the course of 5 minutes, and it felt like an eternity. I bought three for $100, would have purchased so much more if i didn't feel like i was putting this guy out of his way for actually doing his job, which he barely did. How do you have an empty store on two occasions and ignore the customers and make them feel like they are a bother for walking in. After dropping over $100, all he said was the amount i had to pay, not a thank you and every friendly comment i made, or attempt at the slightest conversation was entirely dismissed. Not sure how this place stays in business running it like this. Please address this as you really need to improve customer interaction and avoid lost sales.

I was here, I had my sons Pokémon card looked at here. They owner was really cool. The was nostalgic Mecca here. As real travel back to your childhood. I wish I had kept all my toys in my basement, because they are not worth a small fortune. I can’t help but to tell my friend about this place. There was a parking lot in the back. So just do it and walk done memory lane
