I’ve been shopping here for over 10 years and have never had such a terrible interaction as I had with the MAC counter manager, James. I had come in to return a Foundation. I ordered online that did not match my complexion. I was working with another representative when James came up and inserted himself, targeting me for reasons I do not know. He refused to be accommodating to my requests for help, yelled at me, told me I didn’t deserve respect, and that he didn’t have to be professional because he’s the manager. He refused to give me his name but I was able to see it on the Starbucks cup he had on the floor- which is concerning as it can’t be sanitary to do people’s makeup while drinking coffee. He claimed that in order for me to return products to MAC, they had to be sealed and in sellable condition- even if purchased online. I have never heard of this practice in all my years of shopping with MAC and I don’t believe it to be true. When I left, he continued to yell at me through the store and told me he hopes I’ll “go far” with having figured out his name.I was able to finally get a refund after working with the very kind Macys store manager. I believe her name was Jamilah. However, I would advise against shopping at this MAC as during this whole experience, he was training another employee on their first day. If this is the culture of targeting and harassment MAC considers acceptable, I will no longer be a customer

I will just start by saying that I’ve been shopping at MAC for YEARS now, but yesterday was my LAST time! I had to return 2 small/cheap items due to the first one being not my shade& the second one I just did not after all like the color of the gloss which I had purchased only 2days prior! I walk up very politely “hello” I have a return she immediately turned her nose up at me& said is this from a “makeover” I’m like excuse me she asked 2 more times almost embarrassing me!! I was extremely offended because my very first response was “NO”. She should have took my word& just did my return nothing was open& she checked both with her nose turned up at me! I was there 10/15/

I've had several interviews at this Mac location & the manager (who will remain nameless) has given me the run around for THREE years. Very unprofessional. My dream used to be to be a "Mac girl" till I got offered employment at higher end brands. Also some of the artists that are employed there CANNOT do makeup. Their work looks a mess. Yet I got the runaround & blatantly LIED to and my work is phenomenal. They have gots to do better

I was extremely disappointed with the end result of how my face came out. I specifically told the young lady that was doing my face how I wanted it done. She did the total opposite. I asked for a natural look and she barely used any foundation or concealer on my face. I ended up having to do my own make up for the concert I was attending.

I LOVE the mac in macy's I know every single mac girl and boy at the counter and they know me! The customer service is superb. I usually always greeted and helped right away and find what I want. I'm usually in and out no matter how busy it is.
