Should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. For the second year in a row, I have found myself making an appointment for a specific time, showing up at my scheduled time, and HR Block NOT being relatively ready for my appointed time. For two years, I have had to sit and wait for OVER an hour after my SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME. No apologies, no check-ins. Nothing. Today, an employee even stated that I was late for my own appointment, which was not the case. My appointment was at 2:00, and I walked in at exactly 2:00. To not be seen for over an hour was a horrible experience, and then to be lied to was the icing on the cake. I had to walk out. I will never return. Would not recommend going to Willow Grove.

If I could give negative stars I would. This is the worst experience I have ever had. I gave the "accountant" all of my documents 2.5 months before tax day and when it came to 4/14 she still hadn't filed them and told me I would need to file an extension. The "accountant" filed our taxes wrong not once but twice. I had to hire an actual professional to go in and undo all of her mistakes. She filed so we had to owe a good amount of money but in reality she looked out our documents incorrectly and we were supposed to get money back. Overall terrible experience and this "accountant" shouldn't have a job.

Simply unprofessional, and unacceptable services.I’ve been using H&R Block for 5 years now. Lately it has been nothing but a steady decline into abysmal services.Year 1 & 2 - Absolutely perfect no issues and gained a large refund. The tax professional I worked with was very experienced and knowledgeable. I received more than I thought was possible.Year 3 - Used the drop off taxes for the first time, asked to have the same tax pro review my documents and have a virtual meeting to go over them. Instead I had some random individual call me, didn’t introduce themself and immediately started going over my tax information. Receiving this call after 8pm was definitely cause for concern. I contacted the manager and went over everything that happened. They apologized and said it would never happen again. It was entered wrong in their system.Year 4 - Dropped off my documents again, made the same request to have the tax pro from year 1&2 prep my taxes. Then review them in person. Luckily they followed throw and my taxes were assigned to the same tax pro. However somewhere from dropping off my documents, to the tax pro receiving my documents, they were not scanned in. The got lost for multiple days, and were only found after accidentally finding them in someone else’s paperwork. Oh and then some of them were shredded. Luckily I had the originals for my records and was able to make copies.Year 5 - Dropped off my taxes because the tax pro I used was booked for the rest of the month. They were scanned in front of me to their system, and I was told I’d get a call in 72hrs from a tax pro to go over everything. I called back a week later because I never received a call. No one answered, figured the office was closed and I’d try again another day. Called the next day no answer. So I contacted the customer help line to find out what was going on. The customer service rep tried calling this location, and no one answered. Tried multiple attempts to get in contact with someone for 15mins, and no one answered. All the rep could do was set an appointment to get a call the next day from a tax pro. The next day I did get the call, from a tax pro in Norristown, Pa. I asked when my documents were uploaded to the system. The time stamp had them uploaded that same day, a few hours before calling me. From the time I dropped them off at Willow Grove till the time the tax pro from Norristown called me was 10 days.

Horrible communication and experience. My prior HR Block professional retired last year and I was in need of a new professional. He provided a recommendation for the Willow Office and I proceeded to scheduled an in-person (approx 120 min) with this pro. I received a call the day before saying my selected pro was no available because they dont work Thursdays this season. When I asked why it took 4 weeks to call me to reschedule, the representative refused to answer, and simply said, well if you would have dropped off your paperwork, we could have dealt with the schedule then but YOU forgot to drop off your paperwork. I explained that I scheduled an in person filing because I want to get to know this new professional and to go over my taxes together and took the day off from work. She tried to offer other professionals (which I'm sure are fantastic) but I was very deliberate in who I wanted to work with. After 10 minutes of this circular argument, I hung up the phone noticeably upset as to what happened. I now wasted a day off, need to research other tax services in the area, and was effectively told a scheduling issue was my fault. It's a shame that after 6 years of working with HRBlock that this how I was treated the day before starting my return.

Expensive in comparison to other options. The person who helped me was nice but it just costs too much. I didn't see a good reason to spend that much extra.
