My daughter spent her summer here and we loved it! I can't express how thrilled I am with the Honeyland daycare center. From the engaging activities to the caring and attentive staff, every aspect exceeded my expectations. My little one came home every day bubbling with excitement, sharing stories of new friends made and fun adventures had. It's wonderful to know that my child is not only having a blast but also learning and growing in such a nurturing environment. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Honeyland to all parents! Now that summer is over we are so sad to see her go, but the commute was becoming more inconvenient once school time came back around. Thank you honey land for giving my toddler an amazing summer!

I highly recommend Honeyland! My daughter was home until about 4.5 years old and we decided to put her in the summer camp program at Honeyland to get her ready for school- they were absolutely, wonderful! I felt comfortable and safe leaving my child with the ladies there! They communicated great with me, and my daughter learned A LOT in the few weeks she was there!! Thank you Honeyland for easing my worried mind and helping my daughter get ready for school!! <3

Honeyland has been amazing for my daughter. She started at Honeyland when she was 3 months old and we have been there all through preschool and even after school care. The teachers and staff have been amazing and I credit them for how much my daughter learned at such an early age. She was so well prepared for kindergarten. We knew our daughter was always safe. Even after they reopened during the pandemic they took thorough precautions that resulted in very few cases among the kids. Our family is sad to be moving on, but appreciate the experience and cannot thank them enough.

Honeyland Child Care Center prepared both our kids so well for elementary school. They have cared so lovingly for our kids from 8 weeks old until they were starting kindergarten. We spent 8 wonderful years at Honeyland and even took advantage of their school age after care program for our eldest. Both kids were always eager to go to Honeyland for daycare and summer camp. Honeyland obtained and continues to retain its impressive Keystone STARS STAR 4 rating. Both of our kids tested high on their school assessments before starting kindergarten and we owe their evident readiness and great socialization to Honeyland. The director and staff at Honeyland are simply amazing. Thank you for putting the minds of us working parents at ease!

All three of my little ones have attended Honeyland. I am very grateful for the love, care and attention they have given my children over the years. My kids love going to “school”, as they say. It has helped them develop socially. And also established a great foundation for their education. Thank you Honeyland family!

I’m back at Honeyland again with my third child and I just could not imagine sending her anywhere else. I love everyone at Honeyland like my own family. Every staff member here at Honeyland has always loved my children like they were their own. To this day my second grader still says his favorite teacher was a teacher from Honeyland! My children really loved them and the structure they provide gave me peace of mind when I sent them off to school. I love the homey feel and the place is clean! I went to check out another daycare and I liked the staff but it just looked really dirty. Make an appt for a tour. You will not regret it!

Honeyland is the very best daycare center in the area! I have interacted with Honeyland for over 8 years since both of my grandchildren attended this daycare center. They are professional, informative, educational and so caring! My grandchildren will forever remember their wonderful experiences at Honeyland. I will remember the support and care that they provided. I can't imagine any facility that could provide any more than Honeyland.

Our son went to Honeyland from 9 months - 2 years old. We are moving out of the area and wish we could take Honeyland with us. He learned so much and we could tell his teachers really care. We toured a couple other daycares before choosing Honeyland, it just seemed to have more of a family, friendly feel. Even through these unprecedented times we felt safe sending our son there - they did a great job. Highly recommend to anyone looking for childcare in the area!

My Grandson began his time at Honeyland during the height of Covid, the Director and entire staff are so caring and have done everything necessary to keep the children safe while still allowing them to enjoy their day.My Grandson came out of there with a smile everyday, with a big "see you tomorrow". Love the place.

Honeyland took great care of my infant! I knew she was in good hands when she went to daycare. They worked with me to get her started quickly and it is very affordable. Definitely recommend!

I do not recommend this daycare for multiple reasons. #1 Understaffed - In my experience (7 months with them) they were constantly understaffed. There were days that I was asked to wait for teachers to show up to work in order to hand my infant over. Because they were running late, in turn, I was late to get to work. (Even though we were there at our designated drop-off time.) #2 Infant Care: Once I picked my daughter up and was handed her with, not just a full diaper, but a diaper that had run all the way up her back while she was left alone in a jumper. The teacher handed her to me and because of her state, her soaked clothes soiled my hands and coat. The teacher that picked her up didn't even notice when she lifted her out. This "care" resulted in diaper rashes on the weekly. #3 The Front Door Alarm - The system for checking in includes ringing a bell at the front door and waiting for an answer/buzz through. When no one is at the desk, this takes time. The alarm itself is DEAFENING. Walking past it on tour with a 3 month old is shocking. My 5 year old hated going to pick up her sister b/c of it. They should consider an entry code system at the door, but when you are understaffed in the mornings it probably helps you limit the flow of entrants. #4 Cold Calls - If you are running late, or have a doctor's appointment in the morning, guaranteed you will get a call. I received a call from the director asking if my daughter was coming in because she "wanted to know if she could send staff home". When you are paying tuition for full day child care, you should be able to drop off your child at ANY TIME OF THE DAY even if it's for 20 minutes while you go food shopping. My schedule shouldn't alter an employee's paycheck. Completely. Unprofessional. #5 DARK - The older children's classrooms do not have windows. The daycare is on the basement level of a church, so only half of the classroom's have access to daylight. Because there are no windows in one half of the center, those rooms smell. Like bleach, like potty training, like food waste. #6- The Cost - They share tuition rates with Play and Learn which is a far superior and larger facility. I gave this center 2 stars for the hard working care givers that actually try and were kind to us. Shout out to Ms. Latreasha, Ms. Shantell and Ms. Jenny. The third star is because this place functions despite it's faults. My hope is that this review will help the director move towards better decisions for her staff members and paying clients. (Perhaps look for a newer facility to stay competitive.) My Recommendation: Tour as many facilities as you can, get on wait lists early, and research Nanny shares if you can't get into your preferred center initially.

With my 6 year-old daughter in her 2nd half at Kindergarten, I wanted to share with all parents why Honeyland is an AMAZING place to send your children. When my daughter first started at Honeyland, My wife and I were nervous parents scared to send our child anywhere, I feel this is anxiety at it's best for all parents. Wow, did my wife and I luck out, not only did I feel great about leaving my daughter in the hands of the employees at Honeyland but we saw her become very involved with wanting to read, write, draw, be creative, self-esteem increase, confidence, kindness, etc. She loved going to Honeyland and would sometimes ask me to pick her up later than the time I chose because of the teachers such as Ms Tasha, Ms. Jenny, Ms. Latresha, her friends, etc.!! Now fast forward to now and my daughter is doing EXTREMELY well in Kindergarten with her spelling, writing, reading, and really loving school. Thank you Honeyland!!! If anyone reading this and has more questions, please reach out to me!!

I was not worried about Honeyland Child Care when I had to go back to work, it was just overwhelming having to go back so soon. The owner, staff and teachers were amazing since day one, to not only my daughter but to me as well. Fast forward almost six months later, my daughter LOVES going to school, smiles when she is dropped off and smiles when she is picked up! I dropped her off about a month ago, and ALL teachers cheered her name as we walked in. As I was leaving I saw the owner in the office and went in and gave her a hug.. it was what every parent could want, to know your child is being loved when not in your care, and it has never been a question here. I can't thank Mary and every single staff member and teacher we have had the pleasure to get to know so far enough, and look forward to many more years! As a new mom that has to work full time, I whole heartily recommend Honeyland Child Care. The care and education that my daughter has received so far is beyond what I could have hoped for!

Way to dark inside for a child center.... car seats stacked in the front... horrible odor inside if I had any say the child that was picked up would not go back... I’m sorry but I would not recommend this day care

I have been part of the Honeyland family now for over 8years! The children love coming in and and always have a hard time leaving! Parents always come back to thank us on how well their children are prepared for Kindergarten, not only academically but socially and emotionally as well. The staff are very loving and supportive in many ways! I have seen our staff members go far and beyond for the children and their families at our center. I wouldn't think twice in placing my future children at Honeyland.
