There is not an option for 0 stars. We purchased a 10 month subscription and alert watch, our loved one died and a year later we got an email that went to spam saying they were going to auto renew and charge our card again. After the charge was placed they would not reverse the charge and have made the process of canceling a burden and are again trying to charge for a second year past our agreement and patient's death.Do not give this company your credit card details.

Was on hold for 14 minutes as "existing customer." Lloyd (?) took our call, refused to look up our account based on account holder's name or address and insisted we provide a phone number. We are on two different phones at two different locations trying to assist the 94 year old account holder. Lloyd then disconnected us. We then disconnected Alert-1 for good.

My sister in law was placed in a nursing home and alert one still had 6 months of a year service left on it , I called and cancel and was told no refunds, I could lianed it to someone or use it myself, take it to the Nursing home for the remainder of the service but no refund. Everything was up in the air and the unit got sent to storage not sent back. After numerous calls I found it in storage and sent it back in March after they never give me a refund fir the 6 Mos since Aug 2022 but they want me to pay $60.00 for the few days in March that it took me to track down there equipment. If I don't pay the $60.00 then there going to charge the $600.00 for the year. Some much for there service helping senior citizens on fixed incomes. Wouldn't tell anyone to use this service.

This watch is NOT at & t nor Verizon supported, dont let them fool you. I know this BC I got 2 and neither worked. First one stayed charged 3 hours at a time only it was on charge more than on my moms wrist. Second one wouldnt even complete the test call it kept disconnecting. We took a huge loss but its a lesson learned. If i could give it 0 stars i would. Please dont let them scam your loved one put of money. Now my mom has nothing.

Other than the lady who sold us the equipment, everyone else we spoke with about problems we were having with the so-called "fall detection system" (which we paid an extra $10/month for) lacked basic customer service skills. When I called to get information about cancelling our service, I was told I would need to return the "free gift" lockbox that we received as an incentive to purchase the Alert 1 system. If I had paid the $39.95 for the lockbox, I would have been able to keep it. What part of "free gift" am I missing?I would NOT recommend Alert 1 to anyone looking for an emergency alert system. Our "fall detection" NEVER worked!

I am going to go great lengths to let as many people as possible know how horrible this company is. They are charging another year of service after the equipment was returned. They are 100% taking advantage of and exporting my elderly father. This has to be happening to others as well. BE AWARE!!!!

Took 5 minutes for a very sleepy sounding woman to answer. Toooo long. This was not a call to your corporate office. It was when using the emergency service.

Alert1 had a good review in an online article, so I paid for a 3-year subscription ($1310.00) for the "go-anywhere" device. I found the service poor (take forever to respond to a call) and spotty, even where cell phones work so the device should. Also discovered that "go anywhere" is worthless if you need help but cannot verbally provide the operator with a precise location - as when having a stroke. I called the company and asked to upgrade my device to one with GPS and fall detection, assuring I intended to pay the increased cost going forward. I was told a supervisor would call me. None did. Frustrated with the lack of service and needing a GPS device ASAP, I bought one from a different company. I then called to cancel Alert1 and was told I would receive a pro-rated refund for the remaining 19 months when Alert1 received the returned device. Tracking showed the company received it, at my expense with all accessories and in its original packaging, on March 8. I have still not received a refund.

Illegal spam calls. I'm on the Do Not Call list for marketing calls, and this company calls me all the time trying to sell their services.

Customer service is awful. Pricing is high. If you must use them, never pay more than the minimum in advance as you will never receive any money back.

I wish I had option for zero star. This is my second review & nobody from so cal customer care get back to me. Following is the reasons for the review: 1- When you call to get the service, the phone goes through right away but for "member care" you have to wait on the line for over 30 min. So it means they care more for sales than "customer care" section. 2- System is malfunctioning. Per my only ONE DAY experience, I received about 20 calls from the emergency section to make sure if I'm fine. When you walk and then sit/lay down, the system recognize that there is no motion, so it recognize FALL!!!!! 3- I only use the system for one day & return it asap due to "system FALSE fall detection/devise malfunction", which the CARE representative said it is not malfunction & it is the way that system operating!!!. So, it means the person who is wearing this device, if he/she stop walking and just sit down on a chair the system recognize a FALL!! 4- Care center is very careless & the only answer they will give you that "Yes, this is the way system works" . Also, they will charge you with ONE MONTH membership $30 for only 1DAY use or with considering sending back transit time 5 days , you will be charged for the WHOLE month. This system is WASTE of money & time and it just bring you more stress than peace of mind. If any representative read this review, please leave a respond inhere in case company care for it's customer.

I wish I could give zero star. The worst customer service and device. On hold for min 30 minutes to talk to technical support/ customer service. With every single movement it detect a fall and the center call me. Even if you roll around when you are in bed or when you go to bed, it recognizes you fell down. It's just waste of money . It just bring more stress to you than peace of mind.

Product didn't work accurately. When mother didn't need the product anymore due to spending last days in hospice, they tried to upsell me when attempting to cancel. Also charged me an extra month after cancelling and wouldn't refund me.
