A dying mall.

Easy to get around, not a ton of people. A lot of different stores and lots of parking available to customers from various areas.

The Wyoming Valley Mall has fallen so far. Starting from the parking lot.
You feel as if you are driving through a warzone. Holes in the Road, random barriers up and at night, it's poorly lit so you can't see any of these hazards until you're right on top of them! But dont worry, there is plenty of parking! Now, let's enter the mall itself. Let's go through the food court!
It's desolate. One open eatery, Orange Julius, and an Auntie Anne's a few stores down. Then it's just empty storefront after empty storefront. Two of the four anchor stores are basically vacant. The old Sears has been being used for Spirit Halloween seasonally, and part of it is Ken Pollock Tire. Bon Ton has been used for nothing. They have been this way for years and years.
There are your staple mall stores like Bath & Body, Hot Topic, Hollister & Spencers, and even Sword in the Stone Tabletop game store that's pretty awesome. But then you have that suspicious store by Macy's that has about 20 stuffed animals of carnival quality for sale at outrageous prices in a huge former Express store. Kid you not, it's maybe 6 tables and a register in all that space! Google doesn't even list it in the mall directory.
Or even better, you can go into Royal Prestige and get suckered into joining an MLM selling overpriced cookware to your family and friends.
Center court is what i would describe as a seasonally appropriate selfie station? (Which is for who exactly?) and location for extraordinarily expensive pictures with whatever holiday mascot is current.
The corridors have some different kiosks throughou. Some of them are good (shout out to Piercing Pagoda and R & S Fragrances and Cosmetics, and the rest are overpriced garbage with aggressive or apathetic salesmen. You never know if they'll ignore you as you pass or chase you down trying to make a sale. And let me not forget the bizarre looking (think mutilated popular characters, Pikachu is frightening) overpriced childrens ride on toys to rent. There is even a vending machine that sells snacks from different countries at exorbitant prices.
I could go on and on. I have heard the American mall is dying, but I recently visited the Viewmont Mall and it had minimal empty stores and it was busy!!!! So what gives Wyoming Valley Mall!?!?!?!?

It's so sad that most stores are gone... one side of the mall is emptied... still stores like American Eagle, Hollister, jc penny, maceys but not to terribly much more a few stores that weren't mentioned, of course...

Wonderful mall with so much potential. With the larger stores inside being less popular it has lost some of its shine with time. All it needs is for people to come back and invest their time to make it beautiful again.

Depressing walking around. There was a lot of buckets placed in areas catching water leaking from the roof. Old smell everywhere. Half of the stores are closed. One restaurant left in the Food Court. The parking lot is boulder field. Just shut it down.

It's a ghost town. The few stores remaining are doing their best to survive
