Checking out is a pain, prices are higher than most other food stores

Wilkes Barre. Walmart had a lot of products but a few surprises to me were the lack of variety in some items in the pharmaceutical area; I wanted a BP monitor there was only one brand " Great Value". Secondly, there were no souvenirs not even a button with "Wilkes Barre "stamped on them. Thirdly yet most disappointing, every bag of ours was checked at the door by the lady while everyone else walked by including some folks with items not bagged which are usually subjected to item and receipt comparison. Our bags were opened everything was checked to receipt. Seems like we stuck out not only as out-of-towners but possibly thieves. My buddies took it in stride but I was not happy as folks walking by stared at us like we committed a crime.

Very nice clean and displays?? "Nice" I was surprised how nice the inside of this walmart is, noisy parking lot though ppl loitering in parking lot, unfortunately some shelves were empty and they dont carry some fall meal staples year round it's july no cranberry sauce.

Horrible customer service. I'm new to Wilkes Barre so I had a hard time finding a couple items. Every worker I asked just pointed in the general direction it was in, and said go that way. Then in the beauty section, everything is now locked up, which I didn't mind, but they have one lady working that department, and she helps all the older people first and if you're younger, she'll get to you when she gets to you. I was waiting for her to unlock something for me while she was chit-chatting with someone at the register and she just ignored me waiting. Then an elderly lady walked in and she jumped to help her, and when I said I need something too, she said "well you have to wait your turn". Ridiculous!
