First time ordering lunch for our office. Everything was delicious and neatly packed and marked. The owner and staff were extremely helpful when placing our order and the prices can’t be beat for the amount of food. Will definitely order again ?.

(Cash only!) This diner is an excellent substitute for a drive-thru if you’re on your way down I-81. Prices were amazing and the food tasted great. It was as if the place was stuck in a time capsule and hadn’t changed in 50 years. The main clientele were definitely locals—the server seemed surprised to see our family of 4 ?. But happy and friendly. It’s right next to an auto shop (connecting door) and was a little hard to spot going down the road. If you are looking for a quick sit-down lunch place near Wilkes-Barre, I recommend.

Cash Only, THEY ARE OPEN (until 2 during week) even though it looks dark inside. Now on to the best stuff. Food was absolutely delicious, definitely home cooking! Fries were exactly like I make at home, when I have a lot of extra time, YUMMY! Even better when I don’t have to make them! Chicken parm sandwich delicious! The roll was so fresh and soft, even comes with a crisp pickle. I am one of those people who can’t stand when the chicken has those fat clumps in it, this was not one of those fatty pieces of chicken. Loved the way it was cooked- had a crispness to it that was great. The waitress, cook, everyone was so welcoming and nice. Was so happy to have found this place. It’s one of those small mom and pop type place you run across once in a blue moon that have the best food you have ever run across. Highly recommend you stopping in.

I feel like I just robbed this place!!! $7.50 for delicious Ziti w/meatballs. Homemade Italian Stracciatella soup was outrageously good. Staff and Owner were super nice.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

I decided to get lunch from this restaurant for some clients and myself. I ordered everything online, and when I arrived, I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and gave the lady my name. The place was cute! My food wasn't quite done so I waited a few. When it was done, I left. When we all dug in the food was really good! I enjoyed the pasta mainly. All in all I had a good experience.

While Silver Sage Magazine was in transit to/from Canada, we had a chance to dip into Wilkes-Barre PA, which took us to the land of chocolate bundt cake at The Cafe. The Cafe is perfectly set up as a full-service restaurant and bar, but they accommodated our snack and run visit with grace and great service.Food: What we'd call a chocolate lava cake. But by any name, that warm gooey chocolate center was to die for. The freshly brewed coffee was superb as well - aromatic and just the right amount of bean flavor.A robust lunch crowd was streaming in as we left, so we were glad we had the chance to visit this American Bistro.Good for going with grandchildren and large groups. Riding home from the Finger Lakes we were looking for a quick bite off of 81. The lunch bar had a rating of 5. We would give them a 10 out of 5. Everything is homemade! The meatball hoagie and sloppy joe were fantastic! The French fries are fresh cut and heaping! We will definitely stop again!

The best Italian spinach wedding soup hands down in Luzerne Co. Service is always prompt and the packaging to go let's you add the pasta that is packed separately when you get home so the pasta isn't cooked until it's mush in the hot broth. Look for it across the street from the Sheetz by Mohegan Casino where it looks like an auto mechanics shop it's attached to that building. You will drive right past it if you don't know that..
