Purchased my 2020 ILX new from Motorworld four years ago. Today would've been my 1st service appointment out of warranty. After arriving for my appointment and confirming the work to be done I noticed a hand written amount of $180 on the paperwork that the service dept employee was reading. After questioning what that was for I was told "oh that's the diagnostic fee and is in addition to any work being completed, you should've been informed of that at the time you made your appointment." I was not informed of this at the time I scheduled my appt. After talking with the employee, she also informed me that the diagnostic fee is $180 for each service. My appointment was for 2 issues, therefore total diagnostic fee alone would be $360. (Let me just also mention that had I not questioned the hand written amount on the paperwork my car would've been serviced and I would've been responsible for this charge unknowingly.) Needless to say I will no longer be taking my car for service to Motorworld. I wasted a half day of work to make it to this appointment plus a 45 minute drive one way just to cancel my appointment and go home. If you want your customers to return to you to purchase vehicles in the future you need to do better, get call center employees and service department employees on the same page and stop taking advantage of your customers with your outrageous fees.

Calm and professional from start to finish. Michael McCabe, my sales person, worked for several days with me to find what I was looking for. Peter McGonicle, an animal lover and, a very knowledgeable finance person did everything to the car protected with wheel and service contracts. The car was detailed and equipped when I arrived and was on the road after my trade in 60 minutes.
Now in the car for 8,000 miles, 7 month and my Mercedes is the best car I have ever owned. Thanks again!

If i could give a lower review would. My 2022 ILX was towed there with a dead battery, which was under warranty They charged me $3 for a fuse and $160 for service to replace the fuse. Its all covered under my warranty. I was scammed. They wouldn't let me leave without paying. I live in NJ, I want my money back Highway robbery

Tom, Dustin and Justin in finance. 10/10 would recommend. Down to earth, realistic and non pressuring. They sold us a car from Honda after having no luck with their staff. Specifically management not the sales guys. Pretty sad when another sales staff has to move product for them. I’d buy any brand motorworld sells off these guys at Acura. Felt like we made new friends after leaving there, it was much more than a business deal. 5 stars across the board.

Service department is ridiculous. They give you an appointment but it means nothing. Expect to spend 3-4 hours for an oil change and then they come out after a few hours and “recommend” an extra $600-$800 of work that Acura doesn’t require. Gave me an $800 estimate for a battery cable because it was “corroded”. My local tire shop cleaned the terminal and sprayed corrosion protector on it for free lol. They also recommended a new air filter that they supposedly checked, however I changed the filter myself 2 days prior lol.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the service team at Motor World Acura. I was traveling from outside Philadelphia to upstate New York when the engine in my 2016 Acura TLX had a catastrophic failure,….go figure, usually a very reliable car/engine. The diagnosis was that a new engine was needed so I had to leave it there and procure a rental vehicle to continue my trip. Let’s just say the service was performed in a very timely manner considering the circumstances. Also, just a little shout out to service advisor Kimberly Burke for all her help plus everyone else in the service department, in what was a trying circumstance for me.

My husband got online and found the exact MDX he wanted 1,166.2 miles from our home. He flew out and had a great sales experience purchased the vehicle even paid someone to drive it 17hrs home. Now that he has questions regarding the process of getting tags ex...because DMV protocol varies state to state it's crickets. He has literally called every day from Monday-Friday and has been given the round around. Over and over someone wants to take his information and always promise a call back. It really sucks that after the deal is made and the check is signed no one has time to have a 5min conversation.

While the sales experience is great - I would rather drive an extra 50 miles than deal with their service department. I will never buy any MotorWorld car again.

Bought my first Acura MDX two weeks ago at motorworld and I had a great experience. Dustin , Tom, and Sean were all excellent to deal with and were very courteous and informative form start to finish without being too pushy. They gave me everything I needed to make the best decision and I am very happy with my purchase.

Horrible horrible experience with their service department. Left my car for a standard service for a recall. They told me they close at 6 pm and to call prior to arrange a pick up of my car. I notified the service department that I was planning on picking the car up later that day but would call to let them know if I would be later than 6. I called the service department several times starting at 5:29 pm with no answer. When I finally got a hold of someone, they told me everyone left early and my car was locked away and there was nothing they could do. I was left stranded, with no car, and still had to figure out how to get home which was an hour away. I asked for a rental car or any other means to get me home which the sales manager refused to offer me any services. I was then told by the manager that “we were open all day long”, as if it was my fault that Acura service decided to leave early and keep my car. This service is absolute garbage. They don’t care for customer service. They don’t take responsibility for their poor service. Would never recommend to anyone. Never going back.
