Tried buying a utility trailer thats apparently been on the lot for a few years. We found it to be damaged and missing pieces. We wanted to continue the purchase. The employee in charge of the department said well they should discount it for you, and he proceeded. The manager had to get involved, he mixed up the information, they trailer magically became double the price, he refused to listen to us, the employee, and the home depot website with price. He flat out said yeh we are not gonna discount anything, (I requested a discount for the broken taillight), i mentioned I would even buy a taillight in store. We got a terrible attitude from him and were told take it or leave it when he mixed up the numbers. Lost a big $$$$ sale and I will never shop this store.

Prices were higher than Lowes. Selection was not very good compared to other hardware stores. Employees were rude and seemed like they didn't want to be bothered. Not very knowledgeable

Placed a $5,800 delivery order on Monday 5/20/24 for Friday 5/24/24. I was supposed to receive a call about any unloading issues or any issues at all with my order. I received a text at 645 am Friday morning saying my order was unable to be delivered. No call and no explanation as to why. I had to do ALL the legwork to figure out what was going on. Wilkes-Barre decided to send my order to Bloomsburg. Based on the call to Mike in Bloomsburg it seems as if Bloom and Wilkes do not get along very well. So, while their childish games went on, they never even staged my order for delivery. Based on Mike's response stating "Wilkes-Barre just dumped this order on us" I wasn't expecting any order to be delivered anytime soon. Honestly, idgaf where it's coming from.... TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMER!!! Instead of waiting for the childish game to play out I went to Wilkes-Barre and canceled the order. This is exactly why I always go to Lowes. First time getting a large order here and I get completely screwed over. Lost several days of work due to not having material, have to wait for my money to be refunded, and now I have to wait for a more competent company to deliver my order. I will be getting in touch with corporate because this is nothing short of pathetic. One thing for sure, I will NEVER do business with any Home Depot location.
