“Very friendly staff. I go here to buy outfits for my Aardvark Rudolph Henry who is not a build a bear but fits into their clothing. It’s a joy to pick out new outfits for him.”

“I love this store, or at least the idea of it, but they are way too expensive to actually give one a reason to shop there, it’s almost exploitative. I’m very glad they stock Gunpla now, but their prices are a nearly 50% MSRP markup, so expensive that you could buy any given kit from anywhere online with the average $10 shipping and still be cheaper than driving here and buying any of their kits. It’s insane. Their board games are at least nearly MSRP. The store itself is good, they sell miniature paints and a fantastic stock of board games and a mix of vintage and modern video games. If they fixed the prices to at least competitive, it would be 5/5 easily, but until then, shop somewhere else

Edit: to be clear, any other *brick and mortar* shop that sells similar items, even in this same area or those that pay *more* than this store sell kits at MSRP. It’s not as if this place pays their employees particularly well or more than other places, in fact other hobby shops host the SAME type of events and still are cheaper whilst paying the same. For them to reply and pretend as if their prices are due to their pay or events is laughable. It’s not just online that sells things at a reasonable price. The oldest hobby store in the area sells at MSRP, in fact, every online store *has a primary brick and mortar store* and still maintains prices and frequent sales. Don’t publicly lie because you think those reading are too dim to accurately criticize your practices. You can see on your own site that you barely pay 15$ an hour, at LEAST pay a real living wage before you lie about it. Do better.

Edit 2: since going back recently, it’s seemed that their prices are now in-line with other shops, which I hope to continue seeing. As such, I’ve increased my review score from 2 stars up to 5 as I said originally.”

“This is a great B&N. It still has the old feel and decor but I fear they will remodel to the stale modern style that so many others (including Lehigh Valley Mall) have now. Please don't!”

“They have a good selection of GI Joe's Star wars and Masters of the universe. The prices for most of the things are on the higher side which is understandable because it is a retail store. I don't really know if you can haggle on prices when I went there was a Sunday and only one person running the register and it wasn't his section where the toys were. It's almost as if it's an indoor flea market type atmosphere.”

“Good deals and a lot of product. Make sure your items are marked before getting to the cashier, that is a whole ordeal if not marked. Some cashiers get very annoyed.”
