S&T white Oak has had a complete change in staff compared to years ago. It runs a lot more friendly and smoothly on week days. Now the times are 9:00am to 4:pm for the lobby and 8:30am to 5:00 pm for the drive up. But they are open a hour longer on Fridays. Saturdays are 9:00am till 12.

I was with a business associate today looking to get some banking accomplished. We were treated as if we were their biggest client, not even close, but he always brags on how good they treat him and is always telling guys that do work for us “go to white oak-they know me”. I was blown away at the time the assistant manager took to make sure everything in s&t’s power was done to get it handled. Customer service there is a “10”

Opened a bank account last week with Cheryl Schwer. Not only did she explain everything perfectly, she answered every question I had. To top it all off she had a wonderful personality and scence of humor.

Talk about horrible customer service!! I received a check for my birthday from an S & T Bank account. They would not cash the check from THEIR OWN BANK. If they could have given me a reasonable reason for not doing so I would not be writing this review. Wow, if I was willing to open an account with them they would cash it. Sounds like they are too money hungry. I would never open an account where they would refuse to cash checks.

I opened an account with S and T 11 months ago. I was very careful in choosing a bank because I was leaving one that provided years of terrible service and was determined to not deal with that again. I spent over an hour setting up the account and making sure that I understood every feature and fee. I was very clear that we only use our savings account for short term savings and that withdrawing money from savings is a must. The S and T employee assured me that there were no fees for checking or savings and that as long as I didn't withdraw more than 6 times per month that I would have no issues. I was surprised to see a $6 maintenance fee deducted from my savings account. When I questioned it, I was told it is for going below the minimum balance. I asked for the fee to be waived as I was assured that I would have no issues using the account this way. I offered to keep the minimum going forward but felt it was unfair to tell me it was free and then charge me. She refused and forwarded my concerns to the local branch who has not bothered to contact me. I am now switching my 5 accounts to another bank (which I did not want to have to do) because they value $6 more than they value a customer. Penny wise and pound foolish behavior. I also have not been able to use the app in months since getting a new cell phone and multiple calls to customer service result in no help. They all say there is nothing they can do as it is a coding issue that the engineers need to fix. The app was part of the appeal to using S and T.
