My mother and I both got haircuts for a great price and the women who did the cuts were so sweet. If I'm in the area when my hair gets floor length again I'll be back ?

Just wanted to say that I had a Great experience at Great Clips. My stylists name was Kat and she did a fantastic job, she was very pleasant to talk with and took great pride in her hair cutting. Five Stars all the way.

Worst Haircut EVER!!!!! There is now an area on the back of my head where the hair is cut so short that it stands straight out, appearing as a large, elongated gouge in the hair! And the bottom of the back is all uneven and chopped erratically! I usually get a very nice cut at Great Clips in White Oak, Pennsylvania, and have been a patron since the salon opened many years ago. When I went in on Thursday, February 29, 2024, a stylist I haven't seen before (Will) was the next in cue and ushered me quickly into a chair. I thought, "OK, maybe he has some style". The back of my hair was touching my collar. When he asked me how I wanted it, I said I would like the back to be trimmed a little, and fringed. Then I touched the sides which had length to below the bottom of my ears and said that I like the length and only want a little shaping. When he picked up the clippers, I thought he must have some magic with the clippers. He proceeded to very quickly hack off all the hair in the back, on the sides, and around the top, never hesitating for a moment to ask, "how short do you want this here?" I asked him to thin the top in front because he had made it look like a bowl cut. All the while, I was nice about it, thinking maybe that is how he works, and it may look very nice. When I got home, my husband was like, WTF? Then I looked at the back in the mirror and saw the area (1" W X 3" L) where the clipper chop into and is now only about 1" long and stands straight out. Seriously, what is this person doing in your salon - any salon for that matter? Did you check to find out if he has a license to practice? I don't believe Will ever went to beauty school because he did not exhibit the correct protocol, and certainly does not know how to cut hair, let alone style it. I had to get a wig that I will be wearing for the next several months, because I can't go around with my hair looking like this. I have pictures that show how the back is hacked into, and the rest of it is butchered! And the front! I used to have hair framing my face. Now it is all cut back to the hairline, with the bowl-look "bangs" on top. In the beginning, I asked him to go easy on the crown and only trim it a little bit - he didn't trim it at all - fortunately! The way he wielded those clippers made me think of using a chain saw to trim hedges! I never imagined I'd get such an awful hack job at a salon - to say it deserves negative stars is way more than kind and generous.

My hair dresser didn't look at clip notes, only wanted 1.5 inches cut and feathered. Instead she chopped me down to where I can see scalp! She was not attentive to my needs and needs to listen to what I wanted in the beginning. It seems most of the conversation was convincing me to by Product for my hair. After the cut I had to by Product to keep it manageable. And I am not the type of person that wants, nor has time to spend on placing product in my hair just to make it manageable. Unacceptable. Maybe someone should tell her to listen to the customer wants, not what she feels is an appropriate misstyle, mistake, for the customer!!!

Hour long wait times. Waited 40 minutes and gave up. If there was anywhere else in white oak I would go there. Expensive. Need more staff.
