The Wexford interchange Rite aid has had supply issues for all of the many years I've tried to use them. At first I just had a very common blood pressure medication. I had a year long prescription in their computer, and even though it was in their computer that it would be up for refill, they never had the full amount in stock and I had to come back the next day to get the rest of it. Then I was put on a med for my chronic migraines. Same problem. NEVER EVER had the full 6 pills when I came to refill. That required a return trip as well. That was about 8+ years ago. I'm 54 now and had a few more meds added to my list. I recently moved very close to them and decided to give it another try. But nope, the same problems. Especially with the migraine meds, every time. But quite often with the others. I understand that you don't want meds getting old on the shelf and that you can't guess what prescriptions might come thru the door, but when my years worth of refills are in the computer, why can't it ever be expected that you will want it filled? They clearly get deliveries every day, as I could always come back the next day for the other half of my prescriptions, so why couldn't it be managed in a way that your BUSY customers, already swinging by after work, don't have to do it twice for every refill of some medications, and at least sometimes for others? The store is clean and well stocked. Unless you want the same prescriptions every month. Then it just can't be managed unless you make 2 trips. I thought maybe it was a management problem early on, but years later it's the same, so I guess it's just the way the are going to do it. I quit using them again pretty quickly, so if it's changed very recently, I'm unaware if it. I also have no idea if it's just this Rite aid or all of them that operate this way.

So I've been patronizing this pharmacy for about a year for my prescriptions. When Covid hit, I was happy to be able to use their drive thru service and not go in to the store. There has never been more than one case ahead of me. Today I went to pick up, and there were 2 cars in the drive thru. It was then that I noticed there was a 2nd drive thru lane, with a pneumatic tube, like at the bank, for orders. I pulled up to that, and another car pulled up behind me. Are this point the tech came on the speaker and informed me that this lane was only for dropping off orders. I told her I had no idea, especially since there were no signs or markings of any kind indicating that, and that I only had one prescription and it was already paid for. She started waiting on the next car in line, and now there was a line in lane 1. The pharmacist came on the speaker and again said this lane was only for drop off and that they couldn't send meds through the tube. I asked them if I had to drive around and get in line again. That's clearly what they wanted. Why not put up signage indicating this? Why assume that all customers just inherently know this? This is NOT good customer service at all!

it's 8:10 p.m. I came to receive money sent to me. This type of places are made for emergencies when banks are not available. However, when I went to withdraw the money I was told and I quote "We don't have that amount of money here, we rarely have that amount of money" end quote. Rite Aid is affiliated with Western Union and yet they tell me they don't have money. What happens more than 1 people walk in to receive money? I don't understand you shouldn't be a Western Union if you have no money...
