Facilities are awesome. Very clean and functional. PYCO SOM is a beacon of musical education in the Wexford area. A precious resource.

My daughter and I take violin lessons with Ms. Julia Simeone and we have loved our experience with Ms. Julia and the PYCO school of music. Ms. Julia is great with children and uses various techniques in her Suzuki style of teaching and sends detailed class notes, recordings, and reference materials which have been instrumental for my daughter's learning. The Suzuki approach itself has worked great to develop my daughter's aural skills and has helped her perform at the school's recitals entirely from memory. My four year old has made great strides in her learning for the past year and a half, thanks to Ms. Julia's guidance, patience, and constant encouragement. As for the PYCO school of music, it is conveniently located in Wexford with ample parking and the studio space is perfect. The staff at the store have been extremely helpful with our violin rentals and fixing any issues pertaining to the violins.

The customer service aspect of PYCO is awful. They have no respect for clients and no regard for the student musicians’ well being and potential. They are very unaccommodating yet expect the customer to alter schedules to suit them. I would never recommend this school.

PYCO is truly the best facility in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area! Two recital halls, spacious teaching studios, several youth ensembles and special programs for musicians who play ANY style of music all contribute to creating the ultimate learning environment for the musical arts. It's the home for all of the PYCO orchestras, wind ensembles and choirs. The location is especially convenient for northern suburban students, but is also quickly accessible from I-79 for anyone! Come visit and take lessons or enroll in a program with our wonderful faculty!! You really need to visit and tour this jewel of a facility to experience the highly motivational learning environment! There are many amazing opportunities awaiting your student!!
