“I love the convenience of jiffy lube and have been going there for many years, I used to go to a competitor but stopped due to the way they treated me (I'm female) and would do weird things like keep my valve stem covers, then deny it (and laugh) when I called them on it. I have not had issues like that at jiffy lube thankfully, but I still check. I do know a little bit about cars so I don't let anyone treat me like an idiot, and it really just depends on whom you are dealing with. Some are great, some are not. Today there was a guy there ahead of me and the employee that cashed him out went over the services and everything they checked, etc. I had a different employee cash me out, I paid and he handed me the paperwork and walked out. I can read if course, I'm not sure if it's because I'm female, I'm older, I didn't buy extra services, or that employee doesn't go over stuff with customers. I'm not taking it personally. Also they now charge for things like antifreeze which I don't remember being the case before, so I spent $20 for 2 quarts which I think is overfilled but I'll check it again once the car cools down. The waiting area is glass front facing the afternoon sun and I was baking in there, I had to move to the shade but it's obviously an issue since some of the chairs are cracked from the sun. Please either put something on the windows, open the door, run a fan or a/c. It's brutal on sunny days. I don't mind waiting but yikes. I do appreciate the free water but I don't want to drink all of it. It's a little intimidating to be a woman who isn't familiar with all of the services but today I just needed my oil changed. I can change my own wipers and stuff like that, but not everything. I like having this service available, I don't like all of the ads on fees, but it is what it is. Please have your employees be a little more consistent so we all get treated the same way so I don't wonder if it's me.”
