The salesman I worked with was very laid back a no pressure kind of guy. I was car shopping due to unexpected circumstances, and thus waiting on an insurance check. They were kind enough to work with me and not make it an ordeal. The next part is were they earned the 5th star. The second day I had the car, I noticed an issue. Even though it was mostly cosmetic in nature, they were willing to take it back and check it out and see if they could correct the issue. While it isn't perfect, it is better. I feel they atleast cared enough to try and look into it. We made future arrangements as well.

CONSUMER BEWARE! Went to get my sons Honda power steering fixed, told me almost $3700. When my eyes shot out of my head the service tech said, turn it in to insurance. Easy for him to say. At least they smile at you when they're trying to screw you. Ended up taking car to Foreign Auto on Rt 8, under $1000 for the $3700 fleecing they were trying to pull. The $150 I had to pay for them to try to screw me was worth it. I've purchased 3 brand new cars since 2013 from Baierl. To the Lithia Group, way to ruin Baierl's long respected name in Pittsburgh. See my other review after you tried to stick it to me again at Baierl Accura. They do honor extended warranties but it will cost you to look at. They'll always work the angle to make you pay even though you're protected with a warranty. FROM EXPERIENCE, I HIGHLY "DO NOT" RECOMMEND THE LITHIA GROUP FOR ANYTHING AUTOMOBILE RELATED!

Ken Dash was great to work with. He worked with me on a variety of options on the vehicle (2022 Pilot SE) before deciding to make the purchase. His prompt response time and courteous demeanor only made it better. I would recommend anyone in the market for a vehicle to go see him.

If I could give a zero I would. I recently was coming to the end of a lease on my car and came back to them to talk about options of either buying out my car or trading in for a new car. The person taking care of me, Patrick Latscha, ignored my question about buying my car out completely until I demanded him get me numbers for it. Instead he fudged up some numbers "with his manager" that were completely off in comparison to the prior research I had done for the value of my vehicle. Not only did he insultingly undervalue my car, he dismissed my request to stay near my current monthly payment. When I tried to barter he said he'd meet me in the middle then essentially offered me another insulting and terrible offer. He pressured me that I NEEDED to sign for it that night even though the car wasn't there, as his manager would only let this "great deal" happen if it was today. Feeling like I had no where else to go I said yes. When I showed up to get my car the next week when it was in, I found that he had lied about several features in the vehicle. I asked him about them and he played d*** and spent 5 minutes looking up basic knowledge on his computer. I asked if I was still able to get my down payment back, to which he reluctantly said "yes." So I had him replace my license plate (the first thing he did when I arrived, which I also assume is a pressure move) and left feeling taken advantage of. This place is the definition of a snaky car dealership. Do not trust them and go elsewhere. I went to Rorich Honda the next week and got an offer that was so much better than theirs that I felt the need to explain how terrible they actually are. Couldn't be more offended by Patrick and the way he treated me. Completely despicable.

BEWARE THE SURCHARGE! We have purchased several cars from Baierl Honda. We traded our 2014 CRV and just purchased a new 2022 CRV. I appreciated the time spent by the salesman and the loan officer. We like the car very much! However, when I was all done, had the car home, I was reviewing the loan papers and noticed that the car price listed on the loan was $2000. above the sticker price! I do NOT recall this being mentioned during the conversations about the car and the pricing!) When I called to figure out what happened, I was told that there was a $2000. surcharge on all new cars because of the shortage of cars. I may not object to the surcharge, but it should be posted in plain view in or on the car! (All it would take is a sticker on the window that indicates that there is a surcharge!) In other words, the sticker price is NOT real price!) I'm hoping the rest of my experience with Baierl Honda will be better! Dean Smith

I recently bought a 2021 Honda HRV from Baierl Honda, and it was my first time buying a car. Being a recent graduate, I was very unsure of the car-buying process but Wayne helped me so much. I got the best rate possible, it didn't take super long, and everyone in the office was more than willing to help me. Couldn't have had a better experience and I definitely recommend Wayne to anyone purchasing/leasing a car here!

While visiting friends in Pittsburgh, I learned I'd been hired for a job in Kansas. I knew I'd need a car to get there, so I went to Baierl to buy a 2021 Honda Civic. I explained to the salesman that I would be moving in two weeks, but he noted how Pennsylvania law requires that the car be registered in the state where I hold my drivers license (Indiana). Fine. I expected Baierl's staff to process the paperwork in a timely manner yet, when I checked the Indiana website six weeks later, there was no record of my new car! I contacted the salesman to check the status of the paperwork, only to learn they hadn't even processed it yet, with the temporary plate set to expire at the end of the month! I insisted Baierl send the paperwork directly to me in Kansas, and I ended up incurring an additional $400-plus in state taxes, for which they won't reimburse me. It was the dealership's fault for not processing the paperwork quickly (as I've had many, many other dealerships due in the 40 years I've been buying cars), but the general manager himself persisted in trying to shift the blame on me for moving, when everyone I had dealt with knew of the situation when I bought the car! What lousy customer service!!!

Getting a little frustrated with dealerships. Have a smart key sensor light come on and leaving for vacation. I have called 3 times over the last week and left messages with no return response. All I wanted to know if this is a major concern or if I can wait to fix it. I get service gets busy, just call people back. This is exactly why I take my car else where to be serviced.

I wish I could give 0 stars. This dealership is nothing short of awful. I went in to buy my first car with my boyfriend. Nobody came out to ask if we needed help until 20 min after we we were looking at the same three cars right in front of their front doors. The salesman who came out didn't tell us his name and then said with our price range he could only show us 2 options. We test drove a 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid and everything was good. We went in to negotiate pricing. My boyfriend tried to get the $17,800 down to $17000 and the salesman, Chuck, didn't even to speak to us when my boyfriend placed an offer and just said he had to go get the finance guy. Corey, the finance guy, was the worst salesman I've ever met. He treated my boyfriend as if he knew nothing about finances, meanwhile that's my boyfriend's job. He also treated my dad, who is white, with respect however he didn't treat my boyfriend, who is African American, with that same respect. I left this place in tears after Corey said that my boyfriend was crazy for thinking the car is worth anything less than $17,800. Don't waste your time going here. Terrible experience.
