My first time doing an online order with Williams Ace Hardware. Within minutes of placing my order, I received a confirmation email indicating that it was ready for pickup. I arrived a short time later and greeted by several workers just inside the front entrance. I explained that I placed an online order and within minutes, the items were brought out to my truck. Fantastic service, great prices and friendly folks.

Great Store. There are always associates there to help you. This is NOT the place to go if you want to walk around for 30 minutes looking for someone to assist you. Give em a try before you go to a big box store.

Had a terrible experience here today. I went to exchange a EMPTY propane tank for a full one. As I’m about to walk in a customer a few steps ahead of me held the door open for me as I took one step inside obviously missing the sign on the door saying no propane tanks allowed inside I greeted the grey haired employee with a hello and he immediately told me that I had to turn around and get out! Me not understanding why I’m being told to leave questioned it and explained I’m here to exchange this EMPTY propane tank. Then an older woman who was working the cash register also told me that I had to turn around right now and go outside. Me being a good regular customer not understanding why I’m being told to leave in a very rude manner. I now understand it’s company policy no propane tanks allowed in the store full or empty but at the time doing my very first exchange I wasn’t aware. It’s not my responsibility as a customer to know every rule and regulation for your store but it is your responsibility to convey those guidelines to me the customer in a polite way they can clearly understand. I told them next time I have to fill a tank I’ll just go somewhere else instead of being humiliated.
