Called in a prescription refill yesterday, they said pick it up TOMORROW after 2pm. That's a long time, but it still wasn't ready when I got there at 3:38pm today. I told them to keep it. I'm moving this prescription to a competitor. Always have issues at this store.

What they do well, they do well. Communicating with customers is not a thing they do well---or even marginally well. They will annoy the tar out of you by text about refilling medications when you don't need them, but absolutely no communication about problems getting a medication they claim is in short supply. The ONLY way to find out what's going on is to go in person and MAYBE someone will tell you. I was there two days in a row and spoke with a pharmacist about a medication order and she never bothered to tell me it is out of stock and they are having trouble getting more in. Had to waste another trip to find that one out and even then, it didn't come in when it was supposed to. A technician told me I should check other pharmacy chains because they use different suppliers. What about Rite Aid finding a supplier that can provide medication. This is no obscure medication... Call customer service? Been down that road before. They leave you on hold forever until you just give up in despair.

They never answer the phone you have a question about a prescription they don't answer. Answer the damn phones Rite Aid do better you can't use short stuff as an excuse.

This location used to be wonderful and has since gone down hill! Not sure if management has changed and that is part of the issue. Their excuse is they are busy or short staffed. The phone rings and rings and rings and no one answers. No one even picks up to greet you and say "we will be right with you but we have to put you on hold". The only way to get in touch with them is to come in, request a prescription, and then come back to pick it up.

Well despite being with rite aid for years, I moved mine and my husbands Rx’s to Giant Eagle.
I really don’t blame the employees as they are under staffed and over worked and they are extremely behind. They were ok despite absorbing the pharmacy from munhall but like everywhere else they are under staffed and that leads to nothing but downhill. Let’s face it, everybody is unhappy, the customer and the staff.
Rite aid corp needs an intervention, like better pay? I don’t know I only listen, and it seems ppl that choose to go back to work in their old jobs quit soon after for a couple of reasons and from what I hear is that the pay is not worth the aggravation. I know I wouldn’t want to be yelled at all day. Take a notice on TikTok for instance and there is some shocking behavior done by customers. Does Rite aid have this problem, maybe, but Rite aid needs to address it and fix it. I’ll go to GE from now on though. ?

Went to get my meds to wait in line for over an hour. When I get to the front of the line I get told that my meds are not ready wtf. You can’t call because they don’t answer the phone. And then they expect people not to be pissed off when they get to the front of the line. When I did get to the front of the line I got greeted by a really rude woman who told me I had to wait thirty minutes. I guess my questions as to why they can’t answer phones broke her. Because she walked off the job instead of getting my pills. I guess she showed me? they had me wait an additional half of an hour to get my pills. I stood at the counter and watch countless pissed off customers get treated the same way as I did. Whit an attitude the manger who is a blonde got nasty with me when after the 45 mark of waiting and told me I was the reason the other woman walked off the job. I called corporate because this is ridiculous

HORRIBLE I can understand being understaffed, but no one EVER answers the phone and any extra info can't get to them until you're at the desk (they permanently closed the drive through) After 40+ minutes in line, they got the Rx WRONG so here I sit for ???? long waiting for the correction. Meanwhile, the line is snaking through the store aisles. Never coming here again.

the are short-staffed, but I have seen every employee that has been hr a 2 years.
the problem is that they have absorbed other local pharmacies and have not brought in any of those staff
drive has not been open fr anything other the covid testing for months.
pharmacy has been closed a couple days because of "staffing issues".
do not bring your scripts here. go-to Giant eagle.

I ask the ride aid management to choose his employees correctly because there is an old woman who does not respect customers and does not do her job properly unit today I had two problems with her she don't respect and She talks to people in a loud voice itis look like people they are working for her and I don't see any help from her and she's unfriendly too

If you have any questions for the pharmacist then I advise you to go somewhere else. I came to purchase Chromium (an over the counter vitamin) but the pharmacist could not answer any of my questions and wasn't sure with anything. I will say the whole store was very clean.

they've bought out so many Mom and Pop shops, they can't fill prescriptions fast enough, they are overwhelmed, also, they're prescriptions are more expensive than my old pharmacy! All of their prices are very high!

2019/10/09:Let me start by saying that the staff are kind and apologetic and not responsible for the poor length of time it takes to get waited on. Management and Corporate are responsible for the poor service. If you are going to take on the clients of a closing pharmacy, they need people who can brainstorm and manage the entire process FAR FAR better then they have. Management has dropped the ball bbn on this customer service issue. Well let's see if this trip is any better then before. We already tried calling 3 times between 3.4pm and 4.15pm. No one answered.Drivethru closed due to "broken drawer". 4th time that I have physically seen the drive thru closed since this location took over a local grocery store pharmacy and they have had horrible horrible service since.Standing in line at 4.56pm, 5 staff working.Med not ready, dr. Sent it in on monday 10/7.Will stop back later I guess.7.25pm, back to try and pickup meds. Drive thru drawer is still broken, via a sign. Maybe it is. Heading into store...7.27p, in line. only 1 person ahead of me. Three staff working. I was out in under 10 mins.2019/10/3 Over the past month, service time to pickup your prescriptions has doubled and tripled.I later found out that the nearby grocery store no longer has a pharmacy, rite took over the clients.Ok, but bring on mlm or staff until you can get things started. They were telling people who dropped off scripts it would be 2-3 hour time to fill. Then twice they had the drive thru closed, window covered with a poor readable cardboard sign.Today, pulled up at 5.17pm, I was the 4th car.By 5.30 I was 2nd car and 3 cars behind me. I got to the window at 5.38pm, drove away with my script at 5.42pm.I switched from giant eagle to Rite Aid because they were soooooo slow and under staffed. No one cares for customer service anymore.

This specific Rite Aid took on customers from locally owned pharmacies that recently closed. I have heard nothing but unsatisfactory reports from many of those customers. If their workload increased by that many people needing prescriptions filled, you think they would be prepared to handle the increase in their workload, hire more people. I heard reports that they don’t even answer their phone. This is totally unacceptable. People are coming to you for sometimes life saving medicine and prompt service should be their main goal. Will be looking for a pharmacy that is able to handle the workload & has enough employees on duty to take care of the sick & those needing their daily meds.

I don't go into this RiteAid often but I have been filling my prescriptions here for years (so has my mom, dad, and grandmother). I typically just call them in and pick them up at their drive thru. They have an employee named Will who works in the pharmacy and he is the nicest person! He always sounds pleasant over the phone and he is very helpful. I value this location over other RiteAids because of how great his customer service is.
