“Found Songbird Artistry online and purchased these candles for a corporate gift. We received them very quickly and they are all perfect! Highly recommend ordering online if you aren't local! Thanks Songbird Artistry!!”
“Every time I go here it is such a treat. The cabbage pastrami is out of this world. The broccoli chicharrones and hummus fritters - also unmatched. The service is so down to earth and friendly. They have AMAZING non-alc cocktails. I truly try to go here as much as possible!”
“When you gaze upon the iconic US structures such as the Empire State Building or the Golden Gate Bridge do you ever wonder where the steel and iron came from to build such monuments? I give you the Carrie Blast Furnace the mother of all things great and mighty. The tour and guides are very knowledgeable and friendly and add the local flair to the walk of giants. This is Pittsburgh folks; what made it the mighty city it is and what a treat to see both how iron was produced but to think these very furnaces fueled America is beyond reality. Well worth your time and effort for such intimate experiences you would have never imagined.”
“Despite the bright panels on the outside, Irma Freeman Center for the Imagination is in many ways a blink-and-you'll-miss-it kind of place. Even after having been past it on foot several times, I often had fairly little idea what it was. My first impression was that it might be a community center for disabled or destitute youths, and therefore somewhere that serves a valuable cultural function but in which I have no place. I was very incorrect in this assumption, as I found out later. One day, while the doors were open, I walked in. I was treated to a private, minimalistic indie gallery featuring work by local artists. At the time, the exhibit focused principally on abandoned sites in the Pittsburgh area, with photographs giving an eerie portrait of the region's history. It was as though the photographers were archaeologists documenting recent times that have fallen into obscurity and ruin. This is of course not the only exhibit: Irma Freeman's collections, ever changing, deal with a number of different artists and themes. Gift shop at the front door and opening night receptions every First Friday of the month. Strongly recommend!”
“It was a pleasure working with Sherry,Craig, and the rest of the staff to make our wedding day so memorable! High quality service at a moderate price! You can't go wrong!”
“As a wedding photographer, I see a lot of wedding venues. Edgewood Country Club really has a stunning location. The golf course views are the perfect backdrop for couples photos and the ballroom has great lighting and high ceilings. Getting ready areas are also very spacious. The staff is friendly and communicates well with vendors.”
“My husband and I had our wedding at the Art Room in fall 2023. We had a wonderful experience. Both Kirsten and Bre were amazing to work with from before we signed our contract through our big day. Our guests raved about the venue and how unique it was. We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our day!”

4141 Fifth Ave 3rd Floor, Pittsburgh“Thanks to the museum for hosting my Navy retirement ceremony on April 7, 2023. To say that Angela Tomlin and her staff helped make the event a success is an understatement! The entire museum’s hospitality was incredible. Any/everything we asked of them was handled almost instantly, and Angela and her team were a TREASURE to work with! Everyone in attendance were astounded by the 3rd floor ballroom, and I’m still beyond humbled for the privilege.”
“Hosted a beautiful bridal shower at the Whitehall House. The event coordinator, Kelly, was a pleasure to work with. She was extremely helpful and transparent with the rules and fees. Our day of hostess, Judy, was also wonderful! She had the room set-up exactly how we requested and had our music and PowerPoint playing when we arrived. It was so fun, decorating their beautiful space. Looking forward to hosting more events there in the future. Thanks again Kelly and Judy!”
“Love going here for the brown bag series. I’ve enjoyed every show I’ve attended. A great way to ease your way into a full opera or to try to see if you like it. This place is family friendly and great for all ages. Check it out!!”
“I had the honor of being the Matron of Honor in my sister and now brother-in-law's wedding this past weekend. I was blown away by the professionalism and care that was given to us during planning and at the reception by Jill at the Sunset Room at the Vista. She answered any questions that were had throughout the planning process, was thorough in ensuring that everything that the couple had planned was able to happen, and was very involved during the reception to make sure that everything went off without any issue. The reception space was gorgeous and everything that the couple had hoped it would be. It was beyond what I expected. The other staff were amazing as well and so engaged with guests that it felt that it was a big party for everyone. I will absolutely be recommending the Sunset Room at the Vista for years to come.”
“Beautiful place, we attended a wedding. I did not know that Pittsburgh was ever spelled without the h for a brief time until I saw the engraving in the main entrance of the building.”
“Beautiful location to visit. I had an issue with the pillow cases and the mattress cover not being cleaned but once I brought it to a manager's attention it was dealt with immediately. I wish I had gotten her name but she was a middle aged black female, with shoulder length dark hair, working the day shift, kudos to her. The females working the front counter were just as pleasant.”

350 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh“Amazing ballet performances and also watched a form of jazz dance. The theater is not too big nor is it too small. The audience members primarily are family and friends which makes the night there that more special. Highly recommend visiting and supporting the performers.”

1000 Fort Duquesne Blvd, Pittsburgh“We come for the Home and Garden show every year and always have a good time. The layout is simple and the concessions are decent. Parking for large events gets filled quickly but there are plenty of other lots nearby. Occasionally traffic gets congested underneath and can cause delays, but the street underneath is an easy drop off/pickup point”

3936 Monroeville Blvd, Monroeville“Was originally looking for a hotel closer to Squirrel Hill but none looked promising. So glad I found this one instead! Great facilities. Great staff. Most importantly it's clean and well run. Hot breakfast with a wide selection of items. Free coffee, tea/hot water all day long. Rooms are spacious, modern and quiet. Would definitly stay here again. Close to food and shopping. The IHG app's Wi-Fi Auto Connect also works great. More convenient and SECURE than the typical open, non-encrypted public hotel wifi that requires a portal log-on.”
“We happened to be walking by around lunchtime and decided to try the fish fry. We both got fried shrimp dinners, with pierogies, coleslaw, and haluski. Everything was great and the folks there are very accommodating (since we'd never been there before and we're confused!). And they take credit cards. The fried fish sandwiches looked good too. And large. The social hall had a lot of tables set up to dine in and a bar to sit at as well.”
“Great little venue. So pretty inside! We were here to see an artist we know and like perform. Apparently they have shows here frequently throughout the year. There’s tables set up and you can bring your own food and drinks. They were also selling snacks like chips and pop. We had a great evening listening to music!”
“The Georgetown Centre is an absolutely phenomenal wedding and reception venue! Gabe and Karen were wonderful to work with and made the planning process smooth, seamless, and stress-free from start to finish. They offered multiple planning meetings as needed, which was incredibly helpful.
Additionally, we would like to highlight the size of the venue - Georgetown Centre is accommodating for guest lists big and small! The price point for the wedding/reception packages are reasonable and affordable, especially compared to similar venues.
Needless to say, our day was perfect! The venue staff were incredibly friendly and coordinated well with our other vendors. The venue was extremely clean and the food was delicious! The integrated bridal suite was an added bonus - the suite comes with a private bathroom and seating area. We utilized the bridal suite to eat dinner privately during cocktail hour, which allowed us to mingle with guests during dinner.
Overall, we would highly recommend the Georgetown Centre! We received many compliments from our friends and family about the food, atmosphere, and how beautiful the venue is. Thank you again to the Georgetown Centre team for making our dream a reality!”

“An absolute amazing experience! The best field trip I have ever chaperoned! Extremely interactive and engaging!!! I would recommend the Sherwood Event Center to anyone!!!”
“This event center was perfect for our social and emotional wellness event. Janae is professional and available when called upon. I highly recommend using them. I will definitely use them again.”

214 N Lexington St, Pittsburgh“If you enjoy any type of making or crafting or decorating, this place is AWESOME. It's basically a thrift store for creativity! You can save SOOOOOOO much money by going here for supplies. It's a great place to pick up inexpensive supplies for any craft or project you can imagine. They always have something different and fun!!!”
“My family and I went to The Manchester Room for Drag Queen Bingo, to benefit the Zombie Traveling Baseball Team. We had an absolute blast. They played great music. And, all of the performances were very entertaining. We thought the $30 admission was incredibly reasonable, since it included 6 games of bingo, a great drag queen show, our meal, dessert options and non-alcoholic beverages. And, it was a BYOB event, if you wanted to enjoy a cocktail or a beer.Sadly, all of us commented about the HUGE pillar, located right in the middle of the room. It inevitably presented a tremendous obstacle to everyone's ability to watch the show, no matter where you were seated. It's a total shame that the owner/ designer didn't spend the money on a metal support cross beam, to run the entire width of the room. It would be such a beautiful banquet room, if it had been designed without that enormous pillar in the middle of the room. Plus, removing it would leave enough space, to add another round table in the room.”

“Love the club! Everyone who goes here is family..we laugh so much. This club has THE BEST daytime bartenders in West Mifflin..very polite.. attentive and just all around the best bunch of ladies”
