We were given a ton of helpful advice and got some great products for our furbaby Skyla!! She loved the store and him. He helped us measure her for the harness to correct her pulling and pick the right one. “When I first got my kitty, I thought she was a short hair (turns out she just had some health issues that have since been resolved) but it turned out she was a long hair, which I had no clue how to care for. The first time I took her to Royal Dutch, they were able to brush out all of her mats and she left smelling AMAZING. After that, I tried some other groomers just because I live on the other side of Pittsburgh. None of them compared to Royal Dutch. Needless to say, by the time I went back after the other groomers, my cat had some pretty tricky mats and needed a lion cut. Royal Dutch did this for her and her hair grew back long and healthy, mat free, and most importantly, they were so good with her that she wasn't scared afterwards. Now I drive an hour every six months to Royal Dutch for my kitty because there so no one else I trust more. Also, their prices are so reasonable (and this is coming from a young adult, straight out of college, who is no stranger to pinching pennies). I could not recommend Royal Dutch more.”

“? WINNER! WINNER!???️???I have never known someone as knowledgeable and passionate about birds! This is a one in a million shop! Looks are very deceiving…. Yes it’s an old Millvale storefront, rough, and inside is small and crowded some, cluttered up a bit, but that’s because all the time and love go into the birds and educating customers! I am so glad we went! I took my daughter with me and our two conures. Their claws were very long and I wanted to clip their wings and ask about their beaks. This older gentleman that has devoted his life’s work to his store, was amazing! He knows birds like the back of his hand. He knows how to handle them and taught us how to better approach them and not be scared of bites. He taught us how to hug and pet them… which made our conures so very happy! They’ve bonded with us a lot more since! They’ve stopped biting us as much and are more interested in us now. He informed us of their proper dietary needs and toys. He even let me daughter hold a Macaw!!! She was soooooo proud and excited and grateful! My daughter really took to him and same for him with her. He could tell she was very interested in birds and learning about them. He was impressed with her. My only fear is that this shop could close one day upon his retirement or death. I sincerely pray this man has an apprentice or something because he’s the only one around that is authentic and genuine and built on old school values. Heck, if there isn’t a way to keep it going, sir, I’d be willing! You let us in 10 minutes to closing time, then happily spent the next hour or so with us and the birds, teaching us and explaining everything! Thank you!”

They are both knowledgeable in many different animal care aspects. They have high quality foods, toys, litter (I want to cry when they are out of my favorite one!), treats, and more. Make sure to stop in and say hi! You may even get to see one of the visiting foster cats up for adoption!”

“Highly recommend!! I took my dog here last weekend and it was a positive experience all around! My dog is a Jack Russell Terrier and not always happy to have a bath and her nails clipped. Jules, the wonderful lady who took care of our fur baby was amazing! She took time to ask me about our dog, if there was anything she should look out for or avoid. She was so helpful and so kind with our dog. Our dog was so happy and calm after her treatment, she's usually anxious for hours after being at the groomer. I will absolutely be going back to Jules at Woof Gang and would highly recommend her, especially if you have an anxious puppy!”

“This was my first time using The Dog Stop service. I must say from my initial call to picking up my pet I was impressed. I called the day before to ask for pricing and availability. The young man walked me through the online registration process. There I was able to create an account and make an appointment because the website was user friendly. The day of my appointment the staff was super nice and took the extra time to answer questions I had. I dropped my pet off and he was ready within a couple of hours. I was satisfied with his grooming and the service I received. Also, there prices can't be beat. I will be back for sure. Great Job Team Dog Stop!!!”

“We had an emergency with our pump and Brian arrived in less than an hour and fixed the problem. We had lost faith in what was then our current water garden service company and asked him to put us on his schedule to close our pond for the winter. He was at our house on the day he promised, cleaned and netted the pond, replaced the non-functional bubbler, added an aerator and left the surrounding area so clean we didn't even know he had been there. When we got the bill I was floored--it was far, far less than I expected. We have adopted him as our new water garden service company, and have no doubt that we will be happy with him doing all of our future work.”

“I came to the century 3 Petco today after work . I shop between the waterfront and this one . I did some shopping for my Bronny today. I was so pleased with the service that I got from Terry. This was the 1st time from this Petco that I was really pleased. I had to look at my receipt when I got home to see what her name was. She helped me with my Petco app in my phone . She was very helpful, she didn't rush me along. Because they were busy. She had a lot of patients.
