I called about setting up an appointment to have my car fixed that was throwing a transmission code. The guy I talked to looked up the code and advised that I should contact the manufacturer as it may be covered under an extended warranty that I wasn't aware of. THANK GOODNESS he suggested this because the repair was covered. Since I didn't have work done here, I can't comment on their service but they could have taken advantage of me and charged me $4000+ for a transmission but instead were honest and helpful by referring me to the manufacturer. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

I have had my car here twice and both times they took good care of my car. I had a rebuilt transmission. I drive for rideshare companies and it puts a lot of wear and tear on the car. Jim took care of ensuring my warranty covered my repairs. I got my car back in a timely fashion. However I will say this...watch out for carshield. They don't tell you that when it comes to replacing your part that they offer a used part first if one can be found. If a used part can't be found then and only then you will be given a new part. Thanks Jim for making my experience with car shield bearable...

Cottman came highly recommended from another trusted mechanic that my family uses. Our transmission wasn't shifting correctly in our town and country so we took it in. We ended up needing our transmission rebuilt which we already had suspected. Jim the owner took the time to answer all our questions and was 100% honest and followed up. Not only did they fit us in quickly ( which is a blessing because this establishment is always busy) but they got the job done in a timely manner as well. I highly recommend Jim and his team at Cottman, they truly go above and beyond with their customer service and honestly care about helping customers and it shows!!

My 2013 Subaru Crosstrek was a bit over 100K miles and was due for the CVT fluid to be changed. While Subaru's (and most CVT fluid for that matter) is more expensive than ATF, I feel like the price was fair, they did a good job, and in a timely manner. I will definitely return in the future should the need arise.

The turtle creek one is huge crooks many years a go they put a transmission in that didnt work in my 91 mustang Pete was sales guy who charged me 3 grand for putting a bad transmission in my car.crooks stay away from Cottman transmission's huge fn crooks. You guys will never get by business ever again.
