Staff were all very helpful, helped lessen the stress of a wreck. Trusted by USAA so that was good enough for me.

Always a top-notch experience! Their communication and responsiveness are fantastic, and they keep you in the loop every step of the way. Had my vehicle in for recall and some body work and they even coordinated with Stetler Jeep to get it done while I was out of town on vacation. 5 Stars is not enough!! Thank you and I will refer to my friends!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER- you know how when you go to management classes, you always are asked to tell a time you received poor customer service? Well, this will probably be my go to story forever.
When I stopped by to sign the paperwork to authorize west york collision to do the work on my vehicle after it was involved in the accident, I was told it should be ready to pick up in three weeks. Over two months later when I arrived to pick up my car, the manager- Brad Pritz came out to the entryway and asked me if I had brought my license plate with me. (also. when they called to tell me my car was ready to be picked up, they did not tell me my license plate was missing and I took off work early to pick up my car) I asked him why he was under the impression that I had the license plate and he told me when my car arrived, it did not have a license plate. I pointed out my car had been towed directly there from the place it broke down so it did, indeed, have a license plate on when it arrived. He told me I was wrong (btw, I was not wrong- the car was towed directly to their shop from the streets) and he didn't like my attitude and he was trying to help. I was walking out of the building to call my insurance company and tell them my license plate was lost . As I was walking out, he asked me if I wanted him to write my license plate number on a piece of paper. I stopped in the doorway to answer him and he told me to close the door. Now, it might be childish but I do like when people use their manners. Close the door, please. I continued to walk out at that point because he was horrible and I'll admit, after two months of going back and forth and back and forth with the insurance company and the rental car company (who I adored btw- I highly recommend Enterprise on S. Queen St) and the "service partner" (aka Toyota of York), I was frustrated and exhausted and needed to walk away to calm myself down. He followed me out and asked if I wanted his help or not (by writing my license plate number on a piece of paper NOT trying to help me find my missing license plate)... I called my insurance company trying to find out what I could do at that point. I went back in and he once again told me I had an attitude from the time I walked in and then proceeded to tell me if I was in customer service I must be terrible at my job because I had a bad attitude. He blamed me, toyota of york, the salvage yard. Everyone but them- he refused to take any responsibility for anything- not the delay in getting my car back (after all, he had to get the parts), not the missing license plate (he told me in 30 years he's never lost a plate), none of it was his fault. At this point he said "just pay your deductible and shoo"... also. I tried to pay my deductible and the computer Christa was at wasn't set up to accept tap... Now, once he told me to "Shoo" I told him to F off. My bad for losing my cool but this man is a legend at gaslighting and had pushed all of my buttons. Apparently "Mr. I believe in Truth, Justice and the American way" (per his profile on their website) doesn't approve of ladies using "bad" words and said "nice mouth." At that point, he had me so upset I was shaking and could barely sign my name. Mr. Pritz should stick to searching for big foot and should get out of customer service because he was an absolute horror. Oh and if you are wondering, he said all of this to me after my insurance company paid them $25,000 to fix my van.
One small other annoyance from my awful experience there. They call with "updates" about once a week. Updates would be great. But when you call and say "the car is with our service partner" three weeks in a row and can't provide any additional information, that's not really an update. It's 2024. I know where my car is (I have an app for that). If you're calling with updates, please have some information for me.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Our experience was horrible. We opted to come here over the dealership hoping for a better experience- we were sorely mistaken. The front passenger side of our SUV was messed up and there was a scratch across the whole passenger side of the car.
We ended up working with Travis which was probably majority of the issue. After the inspection, when asked how long it would take to begin working on it, he just responded "We'll call you" in a very nonchalant, no explanation way. There was no communication AT ALL during a 3 week waiting period- no follow-up, no detail, no status update, not even just a VM to let us know that they're still waiting for the shipments, we had to call each and every time. No bedside manners at all.
Once the part finally came in, they did work on the car and had it "fixed" within a week. Even then, no call to let us know it was done, we had to call and inquire multiple times only for them to THEN tell us it was done. We get home, only to notice that they had only buffed out and painted half of the scratch on the side of the car. They just stopped halfway through and when we called to acknowledge it, the response was nonchalantly AGAIN "Oh, I didn't see that on the order, just bring it back and we'll fix it". No apology, no empathy- as if it wasn't a big deal.
At this point, it's been a month+ without the SUV and we were going into the Memorial day weekend (5 weeks). Still never called with an update. After a week and change, I called in the morning and receptionist said that the notes said that they were "waiting for a sticker" [WHAT??? I could've been driving my SUV during the holiday weekend while we wait for the sticker to come in but you kept it and just didn't say anything??] So I asked to speak with Travis and he wasn't available so I told them I'd call back. Call back, no answer. I decided to just go there in person unannounced same day and what do you know, my SUV is sitting outside completely done, with said sticker. And the cherry on top is that they called my husband to let him know it was done AFTER I had already come to inquire in person lol
I pray we never have to come back again. The work on the car after it was finally done was great but the customer experience is a HARD PASS. If we ever have to come back, hopefully we can work with Brad based on the reviews.

Thanks to Brad for all his help with our repair nightmare from a different place. He was very informative and kept us in the loop through the whole process.
Would defiantly go back to them for other body work if ever needed.

I recently entrusted West York Collision Center with repairing my Jeep Wrangler, which had incurred collision damage to the front bumper and right front wheel well. From start to finish, their service was exemplary.
Throughout the repair process, the team at West York Collision Center maintained excellent communication, keeping me informed every step of the way. When the original replacement bumper didn't fit properly, they swiftly reordered the part and ensured that the repair remained on schedule.
The end result surpassed my expectations. The repaired areas blend seamlessly with the rest of the vehicle, leaving no indication that any damage had occurred. I am thoroughly satisfied with the quality of their work.
Overall, I highly recommend West York Collision Center for anyone in need of collision repair. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction are truly commendable.
