614 Pressley St, Pittsburgh“We stopped in Pittsburgh during our road trip from Toronto to Charleston, SC and stayed at The Priory Hotel on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.We hadn't booked a hotel when we left home, just because we never know how far we're going to be able to drive. Sometimes we get tired sooner rather than later...and other times, we end up pushing through for a few more hours. So, we try not to book and book on the way. This is what we did this time too. We called The Priory and told them we'd be arriving by midnight and if they had a room for us. Thankfully, they had a King room, so we booked it on the spot.Parking is very convenient. Just across the street and is included in your stay...as is a cute little takeaway breakfast the next morning. The check-in process was very easy and quick. Our room was extremely clean and spacious. They've done a lovely job of restoring this beautiful old building into large rooms that are very comfortable and convenient. The next morning, we went to pick up our takeaway breakfast and were back on the road for the rest of our trip. We'll definitely be staying at The Priory Hotel any time we're in the area or even passing through. Highly recommend!”
“Ideal location with lots to do close by. In addition, potential for a variety of small group options for a more tailored stay.
Noteworthy details: Stylish open lobby design included a variety of small group meeting areas. Ideal for small group planning sessions, retreats, day trip planning, and movie watching.”

3406 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh“The Brownsville Road House is the best Bed and Breakfast in the Pittsburgh region!! We had a fantastic stay in the beautiful historic mansion. Every room has its own unique personality! The owner was so welcoming and did everything to make us comfortable during our stay. His homemade breakfast was simply perfect with the parfait, special egg dish (with a secret ingredient) and potatoes. Bob really makes everyone feel like they are a special guest when staying here. We are so thankful we didn't stay at a hotel for this trip! And best of all, our golden loved it too!
Rooms: The rooms are so rich in history. Absolutely comfy beds too!”
“Just a great hotel. Front desk is prompt service, helpful. Rooms and facilities are clean, room has standard amenities: coffee maker, TV, fridge. Location is extremely walkable to local restaurants and downtown area.Walkability: Hotel is in the center of downtown, restaurants literally across the street.”
“This will surely remain one of the all time great, memorable hotel stays of my life. The building, its history, and the beautiful neighbourhood (and city!) are reason enough, but Karl and Jeff are also such friendly, interesting people. It also feels luxurious but wasn’t expensive. I highly recommend this inn to anybody coming through Pittsburgh.
Nearby activities: Easy walking distance to great museums and shops, and next to a beautiful park”
“The Parador Inn in Pittsburgh, PA, is a charming and unique place to stay, full of character and history. Three of us spent a delightful weekend there and left thoroughly impressed (May 10 to 12th, 2024).The Inn is housed in a historic mansion that dates back to 1870. Originally built by Charles J. Clarke, a prominent Pittsburgh industrialist, the building exudes the grandeur of a bygone era with its beautiful Victorian architecture and detailed craftsmanship.Ed Menzer, the owner and manager, deserves special mention. His warmth and hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Ed's dedication to maintaining the inn’s historic charm while providing modern comforts is evident. His personal touch and attention to detail created a welcoming atmosphere. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, each with its unique theme and character. The common areas were equally impressive, offering cozy spots to relax and enjoy the inn's ambiance (we especially enjoyed meeting and sitting and chatting in the parlor). The gardens and inviting outdoor spaces are great and the B&B is located within an easy walk to good restaurants and the Andy Warhol Museum. We visited Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, which were about an hour drive. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable lodging experience in Pittsburgh. We look forward to returning in the future.Thank you Ed.”
“We highly recommend Pittsburgh's Grand Hall for your wedding!!!!! Every single guest mentioned how beautiful the venue was, and how well-run and organized the venue handled our wedding. Not to mention The Priory hotel is attached which was convenient for our out of town guests! There was nothing more we could have asked for. The wedding packages were very inclusive, and everything ran like clockwork!”

300 W Station Square Dr, Pittsburgh“We stayed in a 2 Queen guestroom. Room clean and modern. Fantastic view. Staff professional and pleasant. Minor hiccups taken care of efficiently. Good location - felt safe walking around outdoors. Easy drive to everything. Parking for a fee in adjacent lot or parking deck right across the street. Easy in and out with the car - just have parking ticket stamped upon checking in. Walking distance to restaurants such as Hard Rock Cafe, Grand Concourse and more. Walking distance to Monongahela Incline that takes you to incredible views of the city. We didn't use the pool, but it looked inviting. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.”

5105 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh“We had a wonderful stay!! I'm from Pittsburgh and drove by this place 1000 times! I had no idea it was a place to stay until recently. The mansion is gorgeous and the architecture is beautiful. The wood work in this place is mind blowing!!! It's amazing! Top grade craftsmanship went into building this place and renovating it.The night we got there, there was a party downstairs on the main floor around the main entrance. We pulled up and could hear the music. Parking gave us a bit of anxiety but it worked out. We did get a spot around back. They have valet parking. The valet driver just told us where to park so we followed that direction. he also asked us before parking if we had plans on leaving. That's important because if you want to leave and there is a party, it could take a good bit to get your car out. We didn't have an issue because we stayed in.We stayed up on the 3rd floor. This place is so big and so solid that we couldn't hear a peep coming from the party on the first floor!!! Our room was big and private. We didn't encounter anyone else on our floor the whole weekend. There were no noisy people upstairs or beside us or roaming the halls. The place is so solid that we didn't hear a peep!!! The bathroom in our room had a nice shower, TV, comfy bed. There is a staircase and stained glass window as soon as you walk in the main entrance that's breathtaking. we walked a few streets over the next day to Pamela's for breakfast which I would also recommend. We had a great stay. I think there are extras you can add on to your stay like butler service or breakfast but we didn't do that. we were just kind of left to enjoy and we loved that! The lady that checked us in and out was so nice. It was really incredible to see this place if you are a fan of architecture. Chefs kiss!!I do think it would be helpful if they had a little map or something for people that stay. Trying to figure out how to get to our room took us a few minutes because we had to check in inside the house next door, walk into the mansion, take the elevator up and figure out how to get up to 3. The lady that checked us in gave us directions that were clear but when you don't know where you are going it takes a few minutes to figure out the route. We figured out 2 ways to get up to the 3rd floor. There's probably more the place is so big. It's really an awesome place. I would say go if you want a weekend away and are from pgh. It's so much better than a hotel!!! It's top notch!”

2731 Mosside Blvd, Monroeville“Book it! Andre is a Sweetie and seriously saved the day. Drove in from 5 hours away at 4am this morning and had a horrible experience with a neighboring chain hotel. Ended up working all day with no place to stay this evening. Saw the ratings and called and the high overall rating for this location is accurate. Not only did Andre get me quickly setup with a room, he also added a few perks that happened to be available. Being a wife and Mom of two struggling to be away from my Family, he had no idea how much his friendly attitude and kind gesture would mean. Also- my job is to train on operations, sales, and customer service.. He’s got it right. Well done Andre! Big thanks to him for turning my whole trip around. To add to this - room was clean, breakfast looked great, morning staff met me with a smile and a wave even though she was on the phone, and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve probably slept in.”
“I visited this hotel to go to a magic show. I didn’t stay here but the bar and theater area were both lovely. All of the staff that I interacted with were very friendly and helpful.”

3962 William Penn Hwy, Monroeville“I frequently trust Marriott to give me a safe, quiet, comfy experience. My husband and I were traveling across country and needed a place to stay the night of Sept 10, 2023. We don’t know the area. The Marriott app suggested this place. I booked 20 min ahead of time and arrived to a full parking lot. We wondered if we’d get a bad room, but no, it was lovely. Quiet, clean, roomy. I cant comment too much about the surrounding area. We arrived late, nearly 10pm and couldn’t see much in the dark. the only things open were a Dennys and a Wendy’s both within 3 min walking. Dennys was yucky so we switched to Wendy’s. Just FYI. But as for the hotel, very solid. My husband used the gym and said it was great. I regretted I forgot my bathing suit because they had a very nice looking pool too. Morning breakfast was the usual fare but solid. Looked like lots of professionals, especially women, and retired couples were there. Front staff were polite, friendly and efficient. I’d recommend this place. Bon voyage!”

“Dave was awesome, as well as the ladies at the check-in desk. Room was clean and nice, proximity to downtown amenities was perfect and parking was ample. Our only complaint was someone else's child pooped in the pool, so it was closed for the duration of our stay. Obviously not something the hotel can control.Proximity to the highway could be noisy if you're sensitive to it, but it didn't bother us.The deck next door had free EV charging too, which was great.”

425 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh“I was told by an IHG hotel rep over the phone that this hotel has EV charging available at parking. That is the main reason I booked this hotel. There is no EV charging. Parking is across the street in a separate city parking lot, which costs $29 for the night. That said, the hotel is fairly solid. The rooms, furniture, and services are higher quality than what I usually experience in the $100-200 range. The shower had modern fixtures, the room had RGB mood lighting, the outlets were updated with USB, and the room was fitted with fitness equipment built right in.The location, besides the parking, is excellent, within easy walking distance for a lot of good food, drink, and shopping. As far as negatives, besides the parking, my view was not great. Out my windows was a depressing, featureless concrete courtyard. The hotel lobby is also on the 5th floor, which was confusing - not a big deal, but better signage to indicate where to go would have helped.”

658 E Waterfront Dr, Munhall“I chose this hotel after reading reviews and comparing prices of all 3 in the immediate area and was not disappointed. The front desk person at check in was very friendly. She even commented the next morning on something from our discussion at check in. Our room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Ask for an even numbered room if you want to keep an eye on your car in the parking lot.The breakfast selection was plentiful and fresh and the dining space was clean. The attendant was very friendly. We went to a show at the Pittsburgh Improv, located within the Waterfront shopping center, and we chose to walk there from the hotel. Not too far and much better than driving with all the holiday traffic.”

500 Mansfield Ave, Pittsburgh“This hotel is located in Pittsburgh. It was easy to get to located on just across the river from the city. 5 Stars ? ? baby! Why? Because the staff were very accommodating and easy to work with. We had just driven 5 hours from Virginia to get there, wasn't tired, but was ready for a King sized bed to rest and a place to eat. ??. 5 Stars ? ? as we were not disappointed for what we found. The atmosphere was quiet, food was fantastic. You could dine in or have it brought to your room. We dined in. Wish I could have stayed longer ?, but I was headed to Michigan. My son had a major operation at Henry Ford Hospital. So with a fantastic night's rest, we go off without any problems. When you're there, be sure to grab a room with a king-sized bed. It will sssssoooooo good ?. Got to close my eyes. Made it to Michigan without any problems. My son had a successful aneurysm repair. Thank you Jesus! There were family and friends praying all across the landscape from various faiths that it came out well. Not sure who you are or where you are going or have been. I just know I've got a friend who I too can call on in the midst of a storm to hear my cry. I'm praying that if you read this, and if you too need a friend. Just call out to him and he'll be there to for you. I pray that you'll have a successful day. Thank you for letting me share...going back to sleep ? now, because tomorrow, my son will get to go home. Be cool ?, follow me and I'll do my best to keep you posted on my next venture back home to Virginia. Ciao ?!
Rooms: Fantastic!
Safety: No problems. Great surroundings!
Food & drinks: More than you will need.

“We had a wonderful stay. Quiet room with a beautiful view of the river, fresh pack n play for my son, comfy bed. The staff at the hotel is exceptionally nice, from the janitor to the cafe to the front desk. Tianna in the cafe is a rock star.
