801 Carrie Furnace Blvd, Pittsburgh“I had the honor of being the Matron of Honor in my sister and now brother-in-law's wedding this past weekend. I was blown away by the professionalism and care that was given to us during planning and at the reception by Jill at the Sunset Room at the Vista. She answered any questions that were had throughout the planning process, was thorough in ensuring that everything that the couple had planned was able to happen, and was very involved during the reception to make sure that everything went off without any issue. The reception space was gorgeous and everything that the couple had hoped it would be. It was beyond what I expected. The other staff were amazing as well and so engaged with guests that it felt that it was a big party for everyone. I will absolutely be recommending the Sunset Room at the Vista for years to come.”
“The Georgetown Centre is an absolutely phenomenal wedding and reception venue! Gabe and Karen were wonderful to work with and made the planning process smooth, seamless, and stress-free from start to finish. They offered multiple planning meetings as needed, which was incredibly helpful.
Additionally, we would like to highlight the size of the venue - Georgetown Centre is accommodating for guest lists big and small! The price point for the wedding/reception packages are reasonable and affordable, especially compared to similar venues.
Needless to say, our day was perfect! The venue staff were incredibly friendly and coordinated well with our other vendors. The venue was extremely clean and the food was delicious! The integrated bridal suite was an added bonus - the suite comes with a private bathroom and seating area. We utilized the bridal suite to eat dinner privately during cocktail hour, which allowed us to mingle with guests during dinner.
Overall, we would highly recommend the Georgetown Centre! We received many compliments from our friends and family about the food, atmosphere, and how beautiful the venue is. Thank you again to the Georgetown Centre team for making our dream a reality!”
“Hosted a beautiful bridal shower at the Whitehall House. The event coordinator, Kelly, was a pleasure to work with. She was extremely helpful and transparent with the rules and fees. Our day of hostess, Judy, was also wonderful! She had the room set-up exactly how we requested and had our music and PowerPoint playing when we arrived. It was so fun, decorating their beautiful space. Looking forward to hosting more events there in the future. Thanks again Kelly and Judy!”
“Love the club! Everyone who goes here is family..we laugh so much. This club has THE BEST daytime bartenders in West Mifflin..very polite.. attentive and just all around the best bunch of ladies”

4742 PA-51, Belle Vernon“Very clean bowling alley! They have a delicious variety of food. They serve fountain drinks and beer. There are a lot of bowling lanes, we didn't have to wait at all. I love that they also have arcade games, that mixes up the evening well. Very friendly staff. My husband and friend came out we definitely recommend.”
“My family and I went to The Manchester Room for Drag Queen Bingo, to benefit the Zombie Traveling Baseball Team. We had an absolute blast. They played great music. And, all of the performances were very entertaining. We thought the $30 admission was incredibly reasonable, since it included 6 games of bingo, a great drag queen show, our meal, dessert options and non-alcoholic beverages. And, it was a BYOB event, if you wanted to enjoy a cocktail or a beer.Sadly, all of us commented about the HUGE pillar, located right in the middle of the room. It inevitably presented a tremendous obstacle to everyone's ability to watch the show, no matter where you were seated. It's a total shame that the owner/ designer didn't spend the money on a metal support cross beam, to run the entire width of the room. It would be such a beautiful banquet room, if it had been designed without that enormous pillar in the middle of the room. Plus, removing it would leave enough space, to add another round table in the room.”
“The Mushrooms soup. Oh. My. God. It's so delicious I could eat it every day.I had the Grilled Chicken Alfredo. It was a very generous portion with two hefty pieces of garlic bread. One of the best Alfredo dishes I have ever eaten.Their salads are nice, in a large bowl with amazing Italian dressing.Gnocchi was firm (not mushy!) in a beautiful tomato sauce. Served with a large meatball and two chunks of garlic bread.I can't wait to go back and try more dishes!”
“Great show. Drinks were delicious. Food wasn't hot. Shrimp Tempura was popcorn size. Had boneless chicken with bbq sauce. Seem like the sauce was watery and not very flavorful.”
“Nice bowling alley. TV monitors were replaced recently. The restaurant is very good as well for bowling alley food. I would recommend the chicken tenders basket and the cheeseburger. Two of the best values for your dollar. Ashley is a great bartender/server. She is passionate about service and you can tell she loves her job! Overall great place to bowl leisurely or in a league.”
“The arena was nice and spacious. The circus had lemonade $10, snow cones $7, funnel cakes $10 and popcorn. That stuff was very expensive. Then light up toys were $20 a piece. Then at intermission they had camel and pony rides, face painting, feeding the elephant, and pics. It was only for 15 mins and u could only use cash which we had already used on everything else so we were a little disappointed. If u used a card for the drinks or food there was a $3 charge and everything had to be bought separately. I think since everyone uses cards now days those charges should be removed everywhere. I think they shld have given more time for rides and stuff and maybe let people know ahead of time it was cash only. We had a good time. It was a good show. Glad we got to go.”

658 E Waterfront Dr, Munhall“I chose this hotel after reading reviews and comparing prices of all 3 in the immediate area and was not disappointed. The front desk person at check in was very friendly. She even commented the next morning on something from our discussion at check in. Our room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Ask for an even numbered room if you want to keep an eye on your car in the parking lot.The breakfast selection was plentiful and fresh and the dining space was clean. The attendant was very friendly. We went to a show at the Pittsburgh Improv, located within the Waterfront shopping center, and we chose to walk there from the hotel. Not too far and much better than driving with all the holiday traffic.”

The staff at the hotel is exceptionally nice, from the janitor to the cafe to the front desk. Tianna in the cafe is a rock star. Delicious eggs, stone cut oatmeal, and especially tasty cold brew coffee.”
“When you gaze upon the iconic US structures such as the Empire State Building or the Golden Gate Bridge do you ever wonder where the steel and iron came from to build such monuments? I give you the Carrie Blast Furnace the mother of all things great and mighty. The tour and guides are very knowledgeable and friendly and add the local flair to the walk of giants. This is Pittsburgh folks; what made it the mighty city it is and what a treat to see both how iron was produced but to think these very furnaces fueled America is beyond reality. Well worth your time and effort for such intimate experiences you would have never imagined.”
