The outdoor waterpark is excellent for little kids. Very large splash pad and small slides perfect for toddlers, as well as a couple of larger slides for the bigger kids/adults

Someone is not doing their job properly or just incompetent at all. It infuriates me that they can’t seem to update the color bands on my kids. What’s the purpose of having my child do swimming lessons here (fyi, no matter how good your child at swimming, has to repeat the swim level twice) if you can’t update your system that she’s a green band!!!! Do they even keep records of the kids that take lessons at all! I’m really starting to hate this place! FAMILY BATHROOMS are full of MOLDS and it STINKS! Front desk employees (tall, balding guy and petite woman with a guy’s haircut and wears glasses) are both arrogant and unprofessional!

The gym isn't great but besides that, the water only tastes like chlorine! The water is absolutely terrible and I'm putting 1 star so that they see this and fix their water. Other gyms have filtered water especially with nutrients. How do you expect to get stronger by drinking chlorine. Fix the water please!!

Called this branch and asked if I could come here to play pickleball while being a member of the Phoenixville YMCA, and the lady said yes come on down. Drive a half hour there only to be told I can’t play because I needed to sign up 48 hours in advance and I wouldn’t be eligible because I’m not a member of their branch.
Wasted my time, gave poor information, were not accommodating. Place sucks.

staff are really strict and very mean. my friend tripped over my foot in basketball and i almost got banned. if you’re waiting for a machine in the gym they’ll yell at you for making traffic even in an empty gym. bad

The West Chester YMCA is fabulous!The facility is huge and very well maintained. The class instructors are knowledgeable, helpful and caring.I attend the aqua classes both in the shallow pool with Leslie S. as well as in the deep water pool with Kevin C.They are amazing instructors in every way! My husband enjoys exercising in the E-gym. The cost of membership is negligible compared to all they offer.And one more endearing fact: the staff cares very much about helping the community by having such things as food drives and raising money to provide exercise services for those that are unable ordinarily afford going there.

Well designed and equipped YMCA, with people of all shapes and sizes and colors getting more fit. 10 lane pool cool enough for good lap swimming, and another pool for those wanting warm water. The staff seems awesome!

This is a very nice facility within the YMCA of Greater Brandywine network. Two things I love about this specific branch. Almost all the lockers are those that you enter a code to use so no need to bring your own lock. And there's plenty of different sized ones throughout the facility. I also love the eGym equipment. It was easy to set up getting a band and start using it. Takes the guesswork out of using the machines.

Will keep charging you monthly after putting account on hold or attempting to cancel membership. Haven't been to the ymca in 9 months and got charged automatically for 9 months without notice. They will not refund... they consider it a donation.

While my children were not a part of this summer camp, friends I have spoken to had nothing but great things to say! I can recall that they specifically mentioned the camp counselor Sid by name and said he was exceptional in working with their children and made sure they had a great time! Definitely going to be recommending the YMCA to more of my friends!
