I've been working with Nicole for a year now and I've never been more satisfied with a stylist. She's very collaborative; because we work together, my hair comes out better each time. "I think this is my favorite!" Both the cut and the color are fantastic. It's a great feeling when random strangers keep telling you that they love your hair! Thank you, Nicole!

Daria did a wonderful job from start to finish and made sure I loved my hair! She is very professional and made my experience very pleasant. She washed, glazed, cut and styled my hair.. best service I have received and I would definitely come back/recommend!

Started going to this salon last year and absolutely love it! Can’t thank Daria enough for always doing me right. So welcoming and friendly. Consultations are in depth, and the final result always ends up beautiful! 10/10 recommend.

I just started coming to velvet hair studio and I am obsessed. Nicole my stylist is so cool and Down to earth. She is realistic of what would look good or bad on you and makes sure you know what you are getting. The salon is clean and they are working on finishing up beautiful renovations. I also love their method of billing for time in the chair not per service. Would recommend this salon to anyone

I have curly hair that I never really learned how to works with until 2020. This is one of the best haircuts I’ve gotten! I felt really comfortable, learned a lot about how to care for my hair and feel way more confident after this cut! Also having the salon puppy in my lap didn’t hurt ?

I hate leaving bad reviews. But I really really dislike my haircut and cried when I got home. I tried to be very clear on what I wanted and did not but it got so miscommunicated and once I saw how short my hair was getting it was too late. I have a lot of fine straight hair and you can see every cut and it looks like a lot of chopped off shelves. I feel like better communication and better cutting techniques should have been used on my type of hair. Will take a year or so to grow this out.
