Run by young college/high school kids who do not want to work. Had the lights off in the front to look “closed” so no one would come in at 7:30pm. When we came in a second time they said they were booked but online reservations were available for the hour ahead and cost $130 vs. the $40 per person it would be for a walk in.

Staff was friendly and helpful. I wish we had more time to hang out and take advantage of all the activities. Sad that the beer wall wasn’t working though.

My first time doing it and,... loved it, just need more practice lolOn top of the fun, their wall of tap beers show a wide range of nice beers, making this place just the perfect spot for a Friday evening hang out.

We hosted a team building event here. The staff was very kind and would help each person with throwing techniques. We had a wonderful time! Would go back!

I’m sad to write this review, but I’m highly disappointed in Stumpy’s. I reserved a slot for my husband and his friends for his birthday, including $50 worth of pizza. Most of the kegs were kicked, the tv didn’t work, and they didn’t provide the pizza until my husband asked, at which point they said they were out of most toppings we ordered. We had gone 2 years ago and loved it, so this experience was unexpected. Also, pricing reflected on the reservation page on the website is not totally accurate, so you may want to double-check.

Nick and Nick were great and it was a good experience from beginning to end. They are no longer are BYOB but do a great job with the self pour beer wall (which also has cider and wine too) There is also some food offered. Highly recommend for a date night or group outing. We spun the wheel and got a free shot gas too!

Took my dad there on 11/19/22 for his 64th bday. We were the only ones there and we had an absolute blast! Abigail was a great host we enjoyed her customer service very much. We’ll be back again!

If you think this sounds dangerous, give it a try anyway because you're almost guaranteed to have a great time without losing any extremities. After a brief tutorial from a friendly staff member, we had our own lane for an hour, similar to bowling, safely fenced off from other groups. This was our first time, so we had a lot of axes not stick, instead falling to the floor. But that was the same experience of other groups around us, and there was no shame or intimidation, only laughter and determination to try again. After 15 minutes or so, we were sticking some of our throws, and we even managed to get a few in the bullseye before our time expired. Beer taps were closed due to covid, understandably, but I look forward to returning again when they're flowing. Be forewarned that there are many axe-cellent puns on the walls that will have you in a different sort of stitches, or at least rolling your eyes.

Such a great time. Tyler was fantastic! We learned a lot and had so much fun in the process. Only downside was the beer wall being under construction - wish we knew that ahead of time so we could have brought our own.

Our men's club did a weeknight event at Stumpy's and had a blast! Amazing how therapeutic and fun it can be to fling a few hatchets at a wooden target. Most of our guys were rookies, but I was surprised at how quickly most of them got the hang of it. We had a few beers, hung out, played some pool, and it was a lot of fun. The staff was all great, very courteous and helpful. A great way to spend a couple of hours with your group. I recommend it highly!

I took my 19yo daughter to spend private time together and have some fun. We had SO MUCH fun ! It was great to do something so powerful, so energetic and engaging together. It reminded me of sword work and reminded her of archery, and it had its very own charm. We loved watching each other improve and laughing together. We enjoyed the sofa right next to the throwing pen too - so we could take a break and enjoy our soda. The staff was super friendly and gave tips, but also left us plenty of time and space to try on our own. Totally recommend!

Overall had a great experience coming here with my friend. The atmosphere is just as warm and welcoming as the people! Tyler and Gavin were both fantastic axe throwing coaches and helped make the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely will come again!
