I have been treated poorly by 2 of the 3 pharmacy employees I have dealt with in the 3 times I've been to this location. Tonight was the last time I'll ever go to this pharmacy after witnessing the way my mom was treated. The woman working there should not be allowed to be customer-facing. The one with the grey hair and pointy nose. She was very loud and rude and made a scene when my elderly mom, who is on a fixed income, asked to use GoodRX instead of her insurance as it would save her $80 on her medication. You would have thought we asked her to do something outrageous by her reaction. She was clearly inconvenienced that she would have to "rebill" the order. That's not even correct because GoodRX is a discount program, not insurance, so you don't "bill" anything. I have done it before myself at CVS and it literally took 5 minutes. She raised her voice and intimidated my mom, hemming and hawing about how she had to redo everything. She then loudly asked someone else to come up and void it out, causing such a scene in front of other customers. My mom was not in a hurry to get this new prescription, and was feeling very rattled by how she was being treated, so when the employee said it would take 20 minutes we said we would come back tomorrow, no need to rush - trying to appease her so she'd stop being aggressive. Of course, that wasn't going to satisfy her, so she loudly barked "You can't wait 20 minutes!?" in an accusatory tone and I said no we can't. She was upsetting my mom and making her feel embarrassed, when there was absolutely no reason for it. Just because this tech was having a bad day, or perhaps a bad life, does not mean she can take it out on someone she sees as weak because of their age. We ended up going to another pharmacy and had all my mom's prescriptions transferred and we let them know what a bad experience we had at Rite Aid. By their reaction, it sounds like this isn't the first time they've heard about how Rite Aid treats their customers. My mom doesn't deserve to be bullied by a pharmacy tech who doesn't like her job/life.

No frills, cheap prices and very basic needs can be found here. My expectations for Rite Aid are lower than CVS so I'm not disappointed

Unfortunately, I am guilty of writing Yelp comments when things go really wrong, however, I am starting to write about the good things too. I have been coming to Rite Aid (Phoenixville Pike) for over 5 years and have always been nicely greeted by employees. The pharmacists (Raj & Kate) are extremely helpful and always go out their way to help. The Wellness discount card is also a good incentive to come here. It's like going to Cheers where everyone knows your name and this Rite Aid treats you like a family member which is highly unusually in today's world.

Barbara at the pharmacy is miserable every time I go through the drive thru. It's seriously not that hard to be kind!!! Makes me want to switch pharmacies, only reason that I don't is because the pharmacists are knowledgeable and very helpful.

Do not go to this location. The service is slow and the employees that I dealt with were extremely rude and unpleasant. The were also out of stock on several items I was looking for on multiple occasions. I live close by but I will now drive a little further to shop at another store. If I could give it zero stars I would.

I am not just showing we're being partial to the store due to the fact that I work here, but this store prior to me working there the employees were like family with each other. Another reason I wanted to work there. The stores always work and I iced and you always know where everything is at everybody is friendly, and there's always somebody that's willing to help you find whatever it is that you may need. This is probably the only right a that I would suggest anybody go to even if they live around the corner from one like myself. I could have easily chose to work at The Rite Aid around the corner from me and it take me one minute to get there but I chose to get employment at this specific location. They're going to be going under construction but we will still be open and we will be getting a whole new store. Everything should be finalized by April, so please come in and see all of us and see our store
