Finally had the last straw with this place. Ordered a pizza using reward points. Half an hour late I called to see what the problem was and they swore it was on the way. Pizza arrived just under an hour late. I asked the delivery person if the pizza was cold, he said it wasn't and that it was in the heat bag the entire time. I should have trusted my instincts and just rejected the pizza. Driver told me that even if it was cold I could just put it in the microwave. Hate to tell you, Papa John's, but I don't order a pizza from you to have to put it in the microwave. Pizza was cold, yet I wasted points and $11 on their "delivery charge," a few additional toppings, and tipping the driver. Had I paid regular menu price they would have charged me $22. (5 toppings, medium pizza.) Yet when the responded to my complaint, they offered to give me a lesser price pizza (2 topping large). A day later they sent out an email special of two large 2 topping pizzas for $8 each. So basically, Papa John's thinks it's okay to send out a cold pizza an hour late for delivery, and then offer a value of $8 to make up for their bad service. I can put up with the occasional mistake from the store. I will not, however, put up with ridiculously bad customer service that tries to lowball its customers when Papa John's screws up badly.
