We absolutely LOVE the CECL Program! The Director and Teachers have put together a wonderful curriculum and our boys have really flourished since starting there in September 2023. We are so excited for their ‘23-‘24 school year as Preschoolers!

Excellent staff. Facilities are immaculate and machines are always in top condition. What impresses me even more is watching the children racing into the Y with huge smiles on their faces. As a parent this is what you strive for.

I attend Regent University studying Theology It's difficulty learning to translate scriptures however I know enough to realize that Oscar Lasko YMCA and Childcare Center is a great place for my family.

Great Y branch. Has excellent day care for families, great gymnastics center, small but well-equipped fitness center, good gym. Great asset to downtown West Chester area.

Having been a member of the Oscar Lasko YMCA for an extended period of time, it is only fitting that I share how wonderful my experience has been. Due to the exceptional leadership of Executive Director, Bridgette Barbera Byrne, and Senior Program Director, Taylor Kassel, the Oscar Lasko YMCA and Childcare Center continues to serve as a pillar of the West Chester community and a safe-haven for all attendees. Through Bridgette and Taylor’s tireless work-ethic, determination, sincerity, and kindness, Oscar Lasko has repeatedly proven itself to be a tremendous after-school option for children of all ages, and a perfect place for family’s to participate in fun-filled events together. In addition, for adults who are interested in playing basketball, running on an indoor track, participating in exciting and enjoyable CrossFit classes or pickleball games, or just want to utilize a clean and safe wellness center—the Oscar Lasko YMCA has you covered! In addition, unbeknownst to many, the facility provides a state-of-the-art video game room— a true ‘heaven on earth’ for any video game enthusiast. Lastly, the Oscar Lasko YMCA is the only YMCA of Greater Brandywine that offers a Gymnastics Center—a perfect choice of exercise for children of all ages. May the Oscar Lasko YMCA bring you as much joy as it has brought me and so many others!

Friendly staff at welcome desk. Always helpful. Personal training at East Chestnut Fitness has been enriching and rewarding. Amanda really focuses on my needs and knows how hard to push and challenge. The results are evident in weight loss and increased strength and endurance.

I wasn't there to use the facility, but it's nicely situated in downtown West Chester, very convenient access without driving for borough residents.

It's all about community they create. This Y is the best and makes you to come back and do the workout you want. East Chestnut Fitness group I belong to is awesome and gives my a lot of energy every day. Very welcoming and inclusive. It's your workout!

The gymnastics program at the Oscar Lasko YMCA is the best! The coaches are amazing! We love the friendships and connections with other Y families that we've made over the years. I couldn't imagine having my kids anywhere else!

All of the staff made our camp experience wonderful. My daughter was excited to attend camp and we were confident that she was in good hands. Mr. Mike, Addison, and Ziair were all helpful and knowledgeable. Looking forward to next summer.

The downtown Y is the beating heart of West Chester. Walking in through those big double doors feels like coming home. The counter staff are always so kind, and they all know my name. And I feel I could hardly live without my 6pm class.
