From the first phone call about what I needed done, to the guys that came was excellent! I needed a sofa and love seat cut up and moved out my apartment. The building is old there are tight spaces. They cut them up and moved them with ease. They also took my old broke vacuums, old carpet, and moved furniture to other rooms for me. I was not there my dad over saw everything. He said these guys moved swiftly. They were in and out in little over an hour. Now I will be ready when my new furniture is delivered. I can't say more then these guys rock! Dillon, Steve and their associates were an absolute pleasure! They showed up on time, did an amazing job cleaning out 42 years of my life from my South Philly home. They were pleasant while working. They were thorough and effective during my three day crunch before settlement. What would have taken me 3 weeks they accomplished in two days. Junk U is very responsible and completely priced. Junk-U cleared out our 2 storage units, which needed to go to the dump. They sent a man to evaluate the job last week, so I expected them to send a big enough truck to do it, or 2 trucks, but no, they sent 1 small truck. Then they said the nearest dump was closed, so they'd have to drive 45 minutes to the other dump. This left us waiting an extra 2 hours. Then they told us they don't leave the unit "broom clean," which is required by the storage place, so we'll have to make arrangements to have that done too. Then I paid online by credit card, only to see that they added a whopping $16+ to the price for using a credit card, which they never said in advance. So altogether, adequate but not really professional service.

I was not able to be there as I’m renting my home to my sister and her husband., but with being able to FaceTime (making it much more complicated) they were on tine, fast to get to me, not to mention patient. If anything, do to our circumstances we held them up. No complaints, they just kindly did what we asked and got the job done. Would highly recommend.

Steve and his guys removed an old freezer from my basement. It was left when I bought my home. I hadn’t opened it in years and it was completely frozen solid. They opened it and chipped away all the ice to reduce the excessive weight so they could get it up the stairs. It was a huge task I could not have done on my own. They were prompt, courteous and very professional, not to mention the price was very fair! I would recommend them without any hesitation!

We had Junk U remove some large heavy furniture from our 2nd floor bedroom along with a garage and basement full of junk. They came the same day we called for a quote, carried everything out to the truck, and were very friendly and professional. And it didn’t cost that much more than renting a dumpster would have been! Great pricing and professional employees who did a good job of dismantling a hot tub for removal. Two hours past the scheduled window of arrival and left a bit of trash on the ground but overall I would recommend this company to my family and friends. I had used these movers in 2022, and they ended up breaking a lot of our christmas ornaments and also ended up losing a briefcase that we had. Even after several phone calls, and police reports they just claimed they lost it and said they must have delivered it to a different address or something. I was extremely disappointed and honestly sad they "lost" it. I hope they had fun stripping it and selling the contents of it. Thanks for allowing us to lose such precious ornaments and other old jewelry we had.They also absolutely had 0 repercussions for this and never even really followed up with us funnily enough. But what else can you expect. We lost 1000s of dollars worth of items but instead of doing anything they just got away with it. Love the trust factor here :)Theres other movers out there, dont use this. The movers themselves turned out to be scummy and the company.Service: House & garage cleanouts

We had our old hot tub removed; Steve and his crew did a great job, and cleaned up the entire area when they were finished. The cost was fair, and the result was great. Would use them again.

Poor experience during and after the job. Workers arrived, I showed them what was to be removed, and they went to work. When they finished, they had only removed about half of what we agreed on. When I asked them to finish the job, I was told the truck was already packed up and they were leaving. I know an estimate isn’t exact, but they also charged me almost double what I was told on the phone. The workers were aggressive about getting a tip—had to be cash, I wasn’t supposed to add it to the credit card—when they hadn’t even completed the job I hired them for.I called the owner the next day to explain my dissatisfaction and ask if there was any way he could make it right. He promised to call back the next day to discuss. It’s 3 weeks later and I never heard back.Bad service all around. Not recommended.Service: Junk removal
