Had to get fitted for a wedding. Larry and his grandson were very friendly and helpful. Everything fit perfectly and looked amazing! It was also a very quick process.

Purchased suits for wedding party of 7 groomsmen, two fathers and one groom. All were perfect! Had two that were a little tight, but Jeff went above and beyond to make sure they were altered and that we had in time for wedding. Jeff K. was referred to me by my nephew and I will be sure to refer him to others. Thank you, Jeff!

Mainline Custom is an absolute gem of a men's clothier in West Chester. I have purchased multiple suits, shirts, slacks, ties and socks from Larry and Jeff over the years, including my son's prom suit and shoes. We've never had an issue and are always treated as a valued customer. They are very accommodating to my needs and schedule. As wonderful as their clothes and store are, my wife and I thoroughly enjoy our conversations with Jeff and Larry, especially regarding our respective families. This sort of individual attention, quality merchandise and customer service in retail has become rare to find, but it is alive and well at Mainline Custom Shop! Keep up the great work, gentlemen!

While I respect that others have had positive experiences at Mainline Custom Shop, my fiance and I unfortunately did not.Exactly one month prior to our wedding, we were informed that my fiance's suit would not arrive because the fabric wasn't available. This suit was ordered (selected fabric, took measurements and provided payment) in May. This order was placed four months prior to our wedding. While Larry noted that Europe closes down during the summer for vacation, he was obviously confident enough that the suit would arrive on time because he placed the order and took the money.About two weeks prior to the call, my fiance reached out to Larry inquiring about the suit's status. First off, it's mind boggling we had to reach out to Larry, and we shudder thinking what would have happened if we did not reach out first. We went into the shop under the impression that my fiance would have a fitting. We even brought his shoes, belt, etc., for the full look only to have Larry ask us to verify if the fabric swatch was correct, suggest we pick another fabric "just in case" and to re measure him "just in case". We felt totally blind sided to learn that the suit was not in the shop. The reason for this apparently was that it's been incredibly hot in Europe this summer causing delays (yes, I know it really has been hot but this particular reason for Larry asking us confirm the fabric, pick another and re-measure did not add up). Larry said he told us this all in a text and an email (we received neither of those things). Larry said he would cover the rush fee and get it here by the 3rd week of September. We also left the shop without picking out another fabric...which in hindsight is telling that Larry was either not invested in our business or delivering on his promises. Obviously, the promise to deliver a suit by mid-September was not possible.Based on what we observed, it appears to us that Larry forgot to place the suit order entirely. I guess we'll never know for sure. We were able to get a refund although it required another drive to West Chester to swipe the exact same card we used to pay for the suit originally. In the end, we're most frustrated because at every turn we were met with no accountability. Nothing was ever Larry's fault nor did he apologize for how this turned out. The lack of communication and updates throughout this process was also unfathomable to us. If we operated in our jobs in the manner Larry did neither one of us would be employed right now. Please consider this before trusting Larry with dressing you for a big occasion.

Beware, especially with a deadline. I worked with Larry to make a custom suit, and unfortunately, it was a bad experience. I came in 7 weeks in advance and was told it was more than enough time and that it would be done in 4 weeks.I should have known from the 1st day that I should have gone elsewhere. After discussing the price, I went to the cash register to pay. Larry told me he’d mark the undershirt already paid, but when he did the math, he added the shirt twice. I asked why and his response made no sense. After disputing the amount, Larry took what I paid that day and subtracted it from the full price, and said, “we’ll just do it that way, but it’s the same as marking the shirt paid.” It was not the same because the remaining balance was different between the two. I just assumed he was overwhelmed as numerous people were in the store, and he was alone.Throughout the process, I was asked to return five times, which was only initiated after I called to follow up. The reason for coming in was to remeasure or double-check something. I ended up getting the suit two days prior to the wedding and some undershirt the day of. I reminded him multiple times about the shirt, but I’m sure he forgot to order the shirt and gave me a random one from the store that didn’t fit. Then he tried to tell me I wanted the shirt to be longer, as if I didn’t know the difference between something too big. The pants didn’t fit in how we discussed to customize them. The hem at the bottom of the pants was terrible. You could see the stitching indent. I did not get the quality of the suit I purchased. If you decide to work with Larry, I suggest writing down all measurements, materials, and sizes. Call weekly or more frequently to follow up. Be VERY specific in what you want, even if you feel it’s common sense, and refuse to take anything of lesser quality. That being said, don’t come here if you have a deadline. Or, if you don’t want to manage someone in their profession, go elsewhere

Incredible place for high end men’s clothes. This is the type of place you go if you want custom and to be treated like you are a distinguished guest. Would highly recommend. I rented my tux here for my wedding and have bought several other things here and was never disappointed.

My husband and I went today to get a new suit for an upcoming wedding. They were so welcoming and gave great advice as to what colors went with what. I’d definitely recommend them!

Was inquiring about there services and when they sensed I wasn't immediately purchasing something I was hung up on. I called back because these things happen but when I called back they were very evasive and rude. Would have been happy to giver them business but this shop seems skeezy.
