I’ve been going to Firestone in West Chester, PA for years for oil changes, tire rotations and inspections and have rarely ever been disappointed. They are almost always very quick and keep me updated on progress. I live right down the street so it’s been convenient to drop my vehicle and walk home and they do a good job calling if they run into delays, issues or need clarification. They run a good shop and a lot of the guys have been there for years so you can trust their competency and reliability. For these minor & regular maintenance needs I can’t recommend this shop enough.

4 hours to put 4 tires on? Absolutely ridiculous. Worst customer service. Made an appointment to wait for 10am and still waiting at 130pm. Not one person came out to apologize for the wait or tell me how much longer it would be. I will not be back. Communication goes a long way. I couldn’t even get the alignment done because I couldn’t wait any longer. Really terrible experience. Again I will not be back

I’ve never experienced such bad customer service. Multiple times we have had bad experiences. Last time was the clincher. Do not go here.

I took my car in to get new tires put on my 2019 Jetta today. Whoever did the job left this tire glue and corrosive stuff all over my wheels. They made no effort to even try to make it look okay. I thought I could get it off but after trying different cleaners it may just be that my wheels are damaged. They also screwed up the psi in all of my tires. One was at 28 one was at 36 etc. on NEW TIRES How do you not just check them ??? I think Firestone should be the one scrubbing my wheels that they messed up. This place just sucks.

Scams!!!Don't go there for inspection. They will tell you that your car has lots of issues and they will end up giving you quotation for the parts. I left there with annoyance. I was told that my car needed control arms which was not true. They ended up sticking one inspection sticker one my car, which means my car did not pass an inspection. I took my car to another inspection site the same day and it passed an inspection. They are only interested in your money. And they know that when they tell you that your car failed an inspection you will be presured to do whatever they told you because they know that you will not drive the car when it fails. Please don't go. I wasted my money.

I had an awful experience with this Firestone location, and I hope no amount of fake 5 star reviews can take away what I have to say.I brought my car in, a Suzuki with 130k miles on it for an oil change. I was informed later that I needed to do around $6,500 in repairs, two of which I had to do immediately or the car would "burst into flames". Naturally, I was very scared. I had them do the two repairs which amounted to around $1500 as well as replace the windshield wipers and do an oil change.I did get a second opinion...I went to another place my wife's family frequents in Paoli. Not only did they say a lot of the work didn't need to be done, what Firestone supposedly did was exactly that...'supposed'. I brought it back to Firestone for them to do the repairs they actually said they would do. Also...I almost forgot, they DIDN'T EVEN REPLACE MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS...weird that they found $6,500 worth of problems but the windshield wipers were not even replaced.Anyways...Firestone did what it was supposed to...FINALLY. After that I went to a different mechanic. He checked everything for $40 and said break pads would need to be replaced before the next state inspection, but other than that I'm good. He also said Firestone workers get paid on commission...which I'm not sure is true, but is a weird model for auto-mechanic compensation.Either way, I'd recommend McLaughlin's Automotive Service Center in West Chester or United Tire and Service in Paoli. Our friends and family have great experiences with them and I'd ditch Firestone permanently.Cheers.

The one in Exton is awesome! They went above and beyond! I DO NOT recommend the one in West Chester. Customer service at that one is trash!

I have been a customer of this particular location for a few years now. I had my inspection done and was told to replace front and back brakes. I did this and less than a few weeks returned there due to a noise on the back brakes. They "replaced" the rudders in the back under "warranty" but this did not fix the problem. I ended up taking it to the dealership and found the back brakes are MISSING 2 retainers therefore effecting the spring pads moving around the caliber. I asked for the dealer to replace and firestone said they would reimburse me the cost. Fingers crossed they keep good on their word. But how do you miss putting in retainers? Truly disappointed.Services: Brake service & repair

Thermostat, 1 hose, and coolant flush 1149.00 and still didn't fill with antifreeze. Horrible rip off place.

Really bad! Used to do great service. Now they never have mechanics to do a job. Drop it off for an oil change and it sat. Finally said they weren’t able to get to it and didn’t have an oil filter. The front of the house guy is rotating tires then running to answer the phone that’s been ringing for 10min. Very dysfunctional. Use Midas up the street.Services: Wheel alignment

Didn't get a chance to provide feedback before the internal feedback survey expired (don't check my e-mail every day) so it may be helpful to them as a feedback loop or to a future customer if I document my experience here.Service advisor - always nice, facilitates the business transactions very well, and offers concession if there are process failures which can affect me as a customer.Dropped vehicle off mid-day for alignment and state safety and emissions inspection. Work wasn't finished same day which is understandable since I dropped of mid-day. I was notified before day end, stated it would be first priority on next day, and concession was offered. Not necessary but it was a genuine and nice gesture. Still a good transaction at this point.Next day, stores opens at 8am, call received at 10:24am notifying inspection complete and alignment remained. Arrived via ride share at 12:11pm thinking every was going well on their end and 2 hours was enough to finish the alignment. Alignment not started and I elect to wait. Fair play to the advisor because I didn't wait for the all done call. It was just my internal expectation based on previous data - see above phone calls.Alignment started shortly after arrival and all done, paid for, and out the door around 1:10pm. Not too bad.Drive the short-ish distance home ( less than 5 mi) and as I'm pulling into the neighborhood, I hear a rumble while the wheels are rotating. Check the lug nuts - 3 of 5 loose on one rear and same side front 5 of 5 lug nuts were loose. Torqued them myself and moved on. Rather glad I didn't go elsewhere first or get onto a highway where it would have been more complicated and higher stakes in a worser case. This is where an okay transaction became a bad transaction.Everybody makes mistakes at some point in their life. This one just happened to be one that should be considered higher risk to the customer.

After coming in and ordering my tires, they knew my vehicle and past experience (very bad), I was scheduled to have my tire service at 10am. I showed up a little early (9:30) to make things easier. After sitting for a hour and a half, I was told they would not be able to service me and would have to go somewhere else to get my tires installed.
