So I came all the way from Brooklyn and I’m glad I came when I did. I came down to buy a 2016 Honda Accord and it was everything I wanted, car was in excellent condition with nothing I couldn’t take care of my self, Jonathan and crew customer service was amazing and very wholesome. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and can go home with a smile on my face.

Had a great buying experience of my 2014 Toyota Avalon at the sister business Jonathan's Auto Outlet. The car is fine but my service experiences have been disappointing. According to Carfax, when the check engine light came on days after my December purchase, they replaced the leak detection pump for no charge. I paid over $1000 to replace it again in April. The light has come on again. The car passed inspection when I bought it but, shockingly, 18,000 miles later I had frozen calipers and replaced calipers, rotors and pads for over $800. Later that same day the front left brake was making horrible noises in Philadelphia. I didn't think I'd make it out there. I was told when I returned I was told "some mechanical parts had come loose" from the $800+ work I had just paid for. No compensation for my troubles was offered. The reader can form their own opinion.

I was visiting a friend who lives in West Chester (I live about 40 minutes away). My battery in my car died, and this was almost 5:30 at night when I needed help. I called Dave's, they were about to close, but guess what...they came out right away, jump started my car, and didn't even charge me! Wow!!! I got home and the next day my regular mechanic put in a new battery, but I told myself I was going to write Dave's a good review! The trouble they got me out of that night was a lot! If I lived in West Chester, I'd be going to Dave's to get my car services done! Thanks Dave's!

BEWARE: Don't go here unless you want faulty products and your prices to change every time you go. I have had several services done at Dave's from a new starter, inspection, brakes, rotors, lights, etc.
My first red flag should have been them giving me a faulty starter. Then having to go back and forth, before they finally acknowledged their fault and replaced the "new" starter that I purchased.
My second red flag is them claiming they changed my daytime running headlight and having to go back to them TWICE to fix it because the light kept going out.
My final straw was the atrocious and money hungry experience that I got today. I purchased two tires today and they charged me an extra $50 per tire, to mount. When I asked about this, they told me, "All mechanics charge you to mount your tires." This is completely false as this is not the first automotive shop I've been too. It is usually included in the price.
In addition, they tried to charge me $150 for the same brand tire that I bought from them a month ago, at $119. After more back and forth, we switched to a different brand tire which was $95. I am confused why they go for the most expensive options, when I ask, but when my father asks, they give him cheaper options. At this point it is clear that this business targets young, vulnerable women. Please don't come here unless you want a hassle for consistent pricing and reliable products. I will no longer be spending my money here and I advise you to do the same.
I recommend going to Lewis's automotive because at least there they don't cheat their clients.
RESPONSE: I am not sure what a "unicorn ride" is but I am assuming it's a car term. Regardless, I don't feel comfortable giving this business a second chance as I have been dealing with faulty products and inconsistent pricing for the past year.
To conclude, you highlighted that you take these types of reviews into consideration and prioritize good customer service. I pray that this business actually starts treating their female customers with respect and stop hassling them. At the end of the day, it is your choice to leave the most understanding and redundant, google review because you want to look good for your other customers. However. Actions Speak Louder Than Words. Let this be a learning experience.

Dare Dave's does an excellent job every time!! They are always able to get my vehicle in and have a very quick turnaround on repairs. Their prices are respectful and they have a very warm inviting family environment. They go above and beyond for their customers. I highly recommend if you are looking for good quality honest automotive repairs.
