The team at Cj's tire in West Chester is awesome - they work with me on timing of repairs, suggest without selling, and the communication is top notch!

Great place -great service and honest
Told them needed inspection , tires and maybe brakes
Son was saying they squeaked
And needed some clips to fix the plastic piece under car
Told me brakes were good for another 7500 miles and didn’t charge for the clips
Are you kidding me …
Need I say any more
6 star

Only giving a 3 based on past experiences. I've been a LT customer. I'm completely baffled. A tire place can't source 1 tire for replacement. Had to rent a car Saturday & Sunday. Bad timing, not the shop's fault
Friday was Day 1, giving them a pass on not being able to see me. ! But why take an hour Saturday to only tell me a tire was ordered but hasn't arrived. Fortunately, a dealership was nice enough to rent me a car. Most rental car places close Saturday by 4 or 5 PM.
Monday and Tuesday. Crickets. No sense of urgency. I even stopped in yesterday and emailed today. Radio silence.
I get times can be busy. I'm not even upset. But how long am I supposed to be patient? How long am I supposed to restrict my driving activities (temp tire)? What if I get a flat?
I wouldn't even be writing this. But they have my rim, so I can't quietly go anywhere else. Seems like they wouldn't even notice if I did.

Fantastic reliable and trustworthy shop. They never disappoint. Multiple years now with different services like tires, inspections to regular maintenance. They go out of their way to make sure you know the conditions of things and make it clear that certain things don’t need to be serviced immediately, which is absolutely a rare case for mechanical automotive shops so my wife and I appreciate that. They always let us know that things are probably going to come up but don’t try to sell on them which is great in case it’s something I can replace myself quickly.

I am giving 3 stars, rather than 1 because the manager/staff have been really good about working with me to resolve issues. However there seems to be a real problem with quality control in this shop. In years past I have had excellent experiences in this shop and would have given a 5 star rating. In the past two years my experience has been very different. About a year or so ago I got a new set of tires on one vehicle - when I got home I noticed there were no caps on the valve stems - then the next day my wife was left stranded when one of the tires went flat due to a valve stem not being installed properly. When I called while she was stranded with a flat, the day after getting brand new tires, the manager did not seem to have any sense of urgency in taking care of it ASAP - only after some coaxing did he agree to look at it that day. More recently I gave CJs another chance with a new set of tires on another vehicle. It was a comedy of errors. My tool to remove locking lug nuts was lost - my fault - but I would have thought a tire dealer would be prepared to remove locking lug nuts without the tool - this can't be an uncommon problem. They said they couldn't order a tool and I needed to go to the dealer to get one. I picked up the vehicle, then went and purchased a new remover tool and returned another day. CJ's then broke the new tool. This time they were able to order a replacement, even though the first time they told me they couldn't order it, but it was now backordered. Once they got the tool, I brought the car back a 3rd time - they still couldn't get the locking lug nuts off even with the tool and had to keep it to the next day to get help with removing it. Great - they took care of it and I picked it up with my new tires the next day. At my request they had replaced all the locking lug nuts with regular lug nuts. After I was home, I noticed I had 3 of the tires I had ordered and a 4th tire of a different kind. Required a 4th trip back to get the mismatched tire replaced with the right tire. Today I noticed that when they replaced the locking lug nuts with regular lug nuts, not only do the replacements not match the rest of the lug nuts (I'm sure a dealer would have the right ones), but the replacements do not even all match each other. Plus the replacements are old rusty beat up lug nuts that look like they were pulled out of the trash. Too weary to return for correction. Don't think I'll be giving CJ's any more chances.
