Today I had my first experience with Chester County Open MRI and it was great. Ina was friendly and helpful in setting up my appointment and her welcoming manner when I arrived made me feel comfortable and less anxious. Steve, the technician, was informative and efficient during the entire process and made me feel relaxed and in good hands. I am claustrophobic and was apprehensive about getting a closed MRI, so Chester County Open MRI was the route I decided to go and it was perfect…….more open space and less noise with Elton John singing in the background ?. I highly recommend Chester County Open MRI.

Worst customer Service. Whoever answers the phone was rude irritated and not at all pleasant or helpful. I would look elsewhere.

Thank you for a seamless experience. Booking was made in a relativity short time and today’s visit was easy to navigate. The reception and the technician were friendly and knowledgeable and made my visit comfortable.

If I could give zero stars I would. The woman who works there got was rude and angry when I was simply asking questions. She condescendingly mumbled a comment about me “speaking English “ because I was translating over the phone for a patient in our doctors office. Needless to say we won’t be recommending this place for our patients anymore.

I've never had any imaging done here, but I recently called in from a doctor's office with an emergency and was met with obnoxious passive aggressiveness and extreme rudeness. The lady that answers the phone has such an attitude, and instead of getting someone on the phone right away that could help me or understand what I was asking, she immediately said well I don't know what you want me to do. I begrudgingly called a second time to follow up on my request, and she was just as rude that time! She claims to be new but that is no way to keep your job. If I could give zero stars for my experience, I would. Anyone calling this place for something other than making an appointment, beware!

I made an appointment showed up on time. The lady before me gave them the wrong information and her test would run into my appointment. I was told I could leave and go eat and come back or reschedule. I feel that it wasn't my problem the lady in front of me messed up she should of been the one to have to come back or reschedule not me. The staff is very helpful and pleasant which is a plus.

While I initially gave a 1 star review the facility reached out to me immediately and fixed the complaint. Staff were helpful, pleasant, and professional. Will definitely come back.

I had my first MRI at Chester County Open MRI this week. It was a great experience. The open machine didn't make me feel at all claustrophobic. The staff members were wonderful, very friendly and welcoming. Everything was handled in a very professional and efficient manner. If you need an MRI, this is the place to go!

Were helpful in getting my needed MRI performed in a timely manner. Competitive pricing, and great to have an open MRI performed vs a traditional one.

Gave us the wrong time of appointment, entered our phone number incorrectly, told us they would take care of getting the script from the doctor but failed to tell us we needed a pre authorization from the insurance company. When I spoke to them after all of this happened, they were unapologetic and tried to make it seem as though this was my mistake. Needless to say we will not be rescheduling with this company in the future.

Great experience at this Open MRI location. It was my first time getting an MRI, and it was so quick and easy! The staff were awesome from the very beginning. I mostly dealt with Richard who mans the front desk. He was super nice and answered all of my multiple questions and phone calls. The facility is clean and had a nice little waiting area with a TV. The technician doing my scan was the second staff member I encountered here, and he too was very nice! Helped me get ready, made sure I was comfortable, and guided me through the procedure. He told me every time a new test was starting, and the approximate amount of time it would take (i.e. "This test will take 30 seconds," "this one will last 5 minutes," etc.). Open MRI is a chain that advertises a more comfortable experience due to their machines being "open" - you're not enclosed in a tube. I will say for a brain scan, you're still pretty covered up, but you can see the room from your peripheral vision so you don't feel totally enclosed. For brain MRI's you also have a sort of barrier put around your head and face to ensure you remain still, and then little pillows are tucked in for even more security. It sounds like a lot but I was actually very comfortable! Since you're in there for about 25 minutes, you can just close your eyes and relax. Two things that could improve the experience next time: 1) A list of do's and don'ts emailed to you before your procedure. I was told a few things ahead of time, but I was also nervous about doing/wearing something wrong because this was my first MRI. Any single thing that could have a trace of metal in it became a concern to me, so I was frantically googling before my appointment. "Can you wear makeup during an MRI?" "Uh-oh, I put some dry shampoo in this morning and found this article saying that it can interfere with testing." These were a few of the thoughts going through my head. It ended up being fine once I got there, so maybe I had no reason to worry, but a list up front could help for those that like to be prepared! 2) When I was being rolled under the machine, my head was momentarily stopped right under a laser which was directly in line with my eyesight. I luckily looked away because I have worked around similar lasers in the past and obviously know not to stare into them, but this should not happen at all. The laser should be off (if possible) when you roll under the machine so that it's not in line with your eyesight. Or, you should be told to at least close your eyes and be rolled quickly past that spot. Maybe it was a fluke on my visit and most people quickly pass this spot, but I just thought it was a weird thing that causes concern for safety. I will call the facility to let them know about this as well. Overall I had a pleasant experience at this location and would recommend them to others who need to get an MRI.
