The worst, unprofessional, non existent doctors I have ever encountered in the health industry. The ER is a complete Custer and circus. From someone who has been in the field for many years, I am shocked Chester County hospital is in operation. Over 5 hours of waiting for a potential blood clot and never actually was looked at by a doctor. Arrived with no one in the waiting room and people being taken back before me with flu like symptoms. Finally left after being told the Ultrasound has not been looked at (5 hours later). Just received a text (9 hours later) stating to ice, no diagnosis and recommended an MRI. LMAO, ok, will go to a real hospital for actual testing, diagnosis and treatment by real doctors. If you are suffering from a common cold, you will be ok there. On a side note, the entire staff were nasty, cold, uninterested and rude.Don't want a lame response either, you had your chance to "care".YOUR RESPONSE IS AS LAME AS YOUR FACILITY. JUDGING FROM OTHER REVIEWS, YOU SHOULD FOCUS ON THE PROBLEM AT HAND. DON'T NEED TO DISCUSS, JUST FIX IT! MAYBE FUTURE PATIENTS WILL REAP THE IMPROVEMENTS.

Been throwing up for a few days went to the hospital sat in the waiting room for 2 hours while others who came in after me were seen almost instantly. Had some aid talking to me like he a real Dr. Talking to me like I'm stupid saying it's just a hangover. Then gives me a packet that says my alcohol level is normal. Worst hospital I been to

Excellent hospital. Courteous professional caring staff in every department. Maternity is outstanding. Personal family experience with ER dealing with a mental health crisis. All I can say is thank you all for taking care of this situation in the most caring professional manner. Excellent staff. He received a transfer and finally received the proper psychiatric care, and is doing very well. Highly recommend Chester County Hospital.

Staff that doesn't listen. I was given a chest xray when i kept saying i don't have a cough, i have hearing loss and intense ringing in my right ear, head pain, stiff throat and sinus pressure but no drainage. I also woke that day with a lot of blood coming down the back of my throat. I keep having syncope and fainted at work on Tuesday. My blood pressure was also extremely high and my labs do not indicate any active infection. This can be bleed at the base of the head. Nope, didn't want to hear any of it. (I work in cardiology). On registration, I indicated I have Medicaid. The woman asked, "hmm, you work in healthcare but don't have proper insurance?" I was floored by the audacity. I told her I was laid off and just got back to work at my new role a month ago, which is why I gave her my new employer which had changed since I was last at CCH. Employer based insurance won't kick in until 2 more months. This is completely unacceptable and wrong and she needs to be retrained. She also asked me where my family is from, and went on to list places like, France, Germany, English etc... to which I said, Syria. I was never asked this before nor do I even ask my own patients this and I also work within the Penn Medicine Network.I had one day to get the care I needed as my husband goes overseas for a month tomorrow leaving me alone with 2 children and no family around. And I still have no answers. I do not have a chest/respiratory virus. I asked the nurse to have the PA come back in because why is my BP 200/107...he had her come back to tell me that my labs were normal and told me well check in with your primary. I had already told them that I tried to get in both ny PCP and ENT Dr's that day and they had no availablility until March...I am bleeding and passing out NOW!This is not normal!!!!! I have to make sure I reiterate to my kids tonight the steps to call 911 if mommy goes down.

I had to have a dnc . I had to wait 4 hours in the waiting room as I was bleeding crazily from my miscarriage. Some nurses were empathetic. I had to ASK for hospital underwear and pads as I'm miscarrying throughout my whole stay. I asked to use the bathroom when I was put back in my room after several hours...I asked only once..the nurse plopped a toilet next to my bed and didn't help me. I called her back in bc I felt like I was going to pass out after i got up and was extremely nauseous...again i hadnt eaten all day and was bleeding heavily. She sat there and did not show any empathy just treated me like garbage and then walked out. I had one cup of water (again that i had to ask for..was not offered not one drink) as I'm sitting there contracting bleeding and not medicated. I had tylenol right before my dnc which was 2 hours before I got discharged from the hospital. I was not put to sleep for any of it. The doctors themselves were fantastic though and I am very grateful for what they did for me and how they treated me. Nurses were freaking terrible!!!! I lost a child and barely complained. The least I was expecting was clean sanitary items and some help. ! Thank God my husband was there bc most of the nurses were so unprofessional ...did not help AT all...and acted like my situation was above their pay grade.

Bad serviceHad an appointment for radiology for a bone scan set it up two weeks ago.I most definitely know where I live here in Westchester not in Philadelphia. Nothing wrong with Philadelphia but I am not going to drive an hour and something to get a bone scan when I can get it done right here in westchester 8 o’clock in the morning.I take care of an elderly woman had to pay quite a bit of money for the Aid to come and sit. But they could not accommodate from my time, and my wasted money… Now I had to make an appointment like I really want to get up out of bed the day after Christmas when I actually want to spend that time with my kids not going to the hospital to get a test done. This is the third time just a few months ago I had an MRI had to sit on the MRI table for 2 1/2 hours apparently the machine broke, and then it took me forever to get back to do the MRI again from my back.Wow, they really need to get their act together

I came here after getting in a car accident, I was in shock and needed someone to help me calm down. One of the nurses told me I was “making her job hard” and treated me like I wasn’t even a human being. I was 17 and I had just been hit by a car! Nursing staff has been awful every time I’ve been here. Hire new nurses, ones that actually care about patients.

This is the worst hospital! My wife literally told the nurse multiple times she felt like she was going to pass out and they took over 40 mins to even get her to triage and wouldn’t let me go with her when she was literally the only one in the emergency room crying and screaming in pain!

I had to take my one year old to the ER due to difficulty breathing. Charlotte was our triage nurse and was fantastic. She has a great personality that made a stressful day much more tolerable!Add on: just had an MRI last night and they were amazing! Huge thanks to Lena, Cindy and Kelly. Made the whole experience a breeze!

Nurses just disclosing info to visitors. When that totally shouldn't be going on. It should only be given to the person's contact person or children not random friends n family members visiting. Machines constantly be going off and workers be right there like come check ect.. CCh just got worser I would recommend paoli

Do NOT come to the Chester County Hospital!! Unless you are actively dying, you will not be taken seriously. We have been waiting 9 hours for my mother to be seen with heart attack symptoms. She was brought in via ambulance and moved to the main waiting room. She had to sit next to people actively vomiting for hours. She had an IV put in, IN the waiting room!! How is that sterile or sanitary? They drew two blood tests IN the waiting room. It was a very busy day BUT this is completely unacceptable. There is also no food or water available to anyone waiting for a loved one after the bistro closed. I was told to go to Wawa. Thank you for the suggestion but I don’t want to leave my loved one. Get it together Penn. Do better, Be better. I’m so disgusted! Never again, I’d rather take my chances.
