Stay away! We reached out to cancel service in February and the company never followed through. Then they switched over to a new company April 1 and I received another invoice. I called again and was told to send in a letter which I did same day and referenced my previous attempt at cancelling. Never heard back. They still sent me a bill for the next month. When I called again I was told they had informed me k would be billed so I still owed them the money. I reminded them that I have been attempting to cancel for months prior. I then informed them that they were in breach of their own contract which states that they will do monthly tests of your alarm connection because my phone line had been cancelled about 9 MONTHS AGO and their company had not reached out once to let me know that they had lost connection to my system. That’s right: an alarm monitoring service had zero connection to my system for nearly a year and they did nothing about it, just continued to take my money. I then got some excuse about how that was a contract with the old company and that they had just acquired 70,000 accounts that they’re trying to get sorted. I am not sure how that is my problem, and reminded her that they have had my account for 2 months so that has been 2 opportunities for a monthly test that have clearly gone undone. Therefore, they had not provided the service they agreed to provide. Yes I know it was ultimately my responsibility to cancel when I cancelled my phone line and the wasted money was my loss - up until the point I tried cancelling.
TL;DR: they make it impossible to cancel, gaslight you into thinking it’s your problem but have no problem taking your money for a service they aren’t even actually providing.

Stay far away from Alarm Connections. They took over from Synergy and have been awful to try and cancel. We have called multiple times, emailed their cancellation form multiple times and they still keep sending us invoices. At this point, Alarm Connections is more a scam than a real business. Be warned.

Their service is absolutely disgraceful. I tried to cancel to go with a reputable company that’s honest. When I tried, they kept transferring me to other people then to a supposed “manager” which turned out being another sales agent. The run around. Then when they lead me to believe that I got it cancelled after three months of paperwork, emails and phone calls, they transferred my account to this 360* company that they work with without my permission. One nightmare after another, trying to stop the “transitions” as they call it…. please be very careful when you choose an alarm monitoring company. This one has been so stressful it’s crazy. I’m going to have to get my lawyer involved I can’t obviously do it on my own I need legal help to separate from them to ADT. Again please beware of these companies they are dishonest.

Ever since Alarm Connections took over Synergy, the quality of service rapidly fell. Alarm Connections seems only interested in trying to upgrade you from a 3G network to a 5G, even when you already have a 5G communicator antenna!! Always trying to hit you up for $350-$500. Their people are trained to lie to you and say you don't have a 5G even when you do. Ultimately they realized they were talking to someone who knows a little about tech equipment. As soon as they realized this, they resumed my service. I only wonder how many customers already had a 5G antenna and were forced to "upgrade" for no reason. This is a large scale scam.
What makes the whole thing worse, is 1 -year earlier Alarm Connections themselves had upgraded me from a 3G to a 5G absolutely for free! which I told them, and they refused to admit. They kept saying it was a 3G.
Once I threatened to cancel with them, they finally admitted to their mistake.
The bad service did not stop there. Now they wanted to charge me for all the months they did not offer me service. Its only about $200, but I cannot pay these people who are down right scamming the 2000 customers they purchased from Synergy Alarm Company.

Buyer beware. Advised i wanted to cancel the service in September 2023, they continued to bill my company unbeknownst to me. When my bookkeeper realized we were paying two alarm companies, she stopped paying the invoices. They sent us to collections. Even though their was no equipment for them to monitor. And they did not call us and say, hey we are getting no signal from your alarm system which by definition is the service i was supposed to be paying for. Currently on hold with customer service trying to get the account canceled, i'm an hour in on this call and still they have not cancelled the service. Find a reputable company, this is not the one.

TERRIBLE. I would not even give them a 1 star but you have to to leave a review. Customer service is poor. Communication is poor. Alarm went off & did not notify police.. luckily it was caught by a neighbor & situation was handled. Was charged many months & not even getting full service on our system. When requested a credit they refused & were ok with my cancellation. Would not recommend to anybody.

Beware of this company. Charged us two years of monitoring after we sold the house. The did not monitor the house but continued to charge our credit card after cancelation.
AVOID this company and do not give them a credit card! Charging without providing a service IMO is fraud.

Seven alarms triggered all at 3 a.m. when 'system 'is tested'. This resulted in seven consecutive months of a night without sleep and worse, the city fire department showing up at our door without reason. During one of these calls? I was asked if I wanted to 'upgrade' to a better system. No thank you. Four of the seven middle of the night calls? Zone 89 was set off. We do not have a zone 89. How to explain? A computer glitch on the company's part? Pressure to upgrade? You decide. They can't tell us.

Just the worst. Avoid like the plague. Our plan was sold to Alarm Connections. We started having trouble with an electronic board in the system. I called and advised that we would be traveling in a few months and wanted the system serviced so it would be functioning while we were gone. I was told someone would be in contact. A subcontractor of a subcontractor called me more than a month later. I again expressed my concern of our travel and that the work would need to be completed within a month and a half. They tried mailing other cellular boosters (which didn’t address the issue). I didn’t get a call for a service tech to come out until we’ll after we were gone. We decided to go another route with our security system, so I sent an email requesting they cancel our plan. We had a bill from them for the upcoming year. I received a call advising that the cancellation wasn’t sent 30 days prior to the anniversary of the contact. The contract was automatically renewed and I would be responsible in full for the upcoming year’s payment (for a system that didn’t work, and we had replaced with better equipment). The customer service has been awful, the system failed, and we are expected to pay for yet another year. Happy to be finished with this company. I would give a zero star rating if that option was available.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!
Call and the phone rings and rings! "IF" you are lucky enough to reach someone you either get HUNG UP ON or they take a message and you NEVER get called back! This company truly makes you feel like your livelihood if SAFE AND SECURE! Insert sarcasm here! #SMH

Working with alarm connections has really been a great experience. They make us feel like part of the family. The partnership has allowed for us to expand our market.
