Rooms: The room was extremely comfortable and made it hard to leave

Although conveniently located for my purposes on a recent trip, and priced affordably, this hotel is a prime example of you get what you pay for. Our room was decent, with clean beds and what look like a fairly recently remodeled bathroom. However, the furniture and carpeting were definitely dated and showing signs of age. The air conditioner in the room was barely functional, bringing the ambient temperature down from approximately 85° down to perhaps 75 over the course of about 6 hours. After walking around the hotel a little bit I realized that with the exception of the main lobby, there was no functional air conditioning in any of the common areas. The hotel had an overall very musty smell and was again extremely dated. The pool that is advertised on the website was empty and did not appear to have been used in several years. At one point there was a restaurant in the hotel which seems to be long gone. The area that was theoretically the conference center that is advertising the name of the hotel is boarded up with a few planks of sheetrock placed across the hallway. If you are looking for a very budget conscious hotel in the West Chester PA area, this one may suit your needs if you can deal with the issues outlined here. However, upon doing some additional searching I found a number of far nicer hotels within approximately 10-15 minutes for about maybe $50 more per night. I will not be staying here again.
Rooms: Dated, but clean.
Food & drinks: There are vending machines on each floor which appear to have been stocked. There was no sundry counter or snack shop in the hotel that I could locate.

It was clean but smelled like too much cheap air deodorizer.

Reviews for Hotels need to be taken with a grain of salt. That being said my particular stay Memorial Day weekend was fantastic. For the price in the area and the location, I doubt there is better. access to the wings are key carded from the parking lot. Ample parking. I did not see any sketchy people, just vacationers looking for a decent place to stay. I had the King handicap accessible. Room was spacious, AC blows cold. Fridge microwave, coffee maker, coffee and teabags in room, ice bucket and the usual bathroom toiletries. Pillows are down and soft, bed was a bit springy but comfortable for a few days. Sheets were soft. Also relatively quiet. I would recommend staying here. Staff and front desk are friendly and accommodating. The only thing that annoyed me was the keycard to the door sometimes took 5-6 tries. It works eventually.

Needed a place close to my travel location and got this on Orbitz. Probably should have adjusted expectations, but still the place looks old, dark parking lot and lobby with doors that still have an insert card locks and a carpet that has to be 30 years old. My first room didn't work and after 2 trips to the reception desk I got a different room. The receptionist was pleasant and friendly, but the place just didn't feel safe at night- specially when a sign on your door warns you NOT to open the door if you don't know who it is and call the desk if someone claims to be a hotel employee ? the room while old, was very clean.
On top of that 2 night in this " luxurious place" came to over 400 dollars!

The room was smelly and small, and I didn't get the room I booked. Without a translator, it wasn't worth the hassle. The access to and from the hotel was horrible.
Did I mention that the room smelled like the drain pan from a 40 year old refrigerator!!
Never will I ever stay there again,
Rooms: Smell, old, and moldy.
Safety: Schetchy, and that is high praise!

This is a great option for the price. Its true that the room smelled a little weird, the other patrons seem a bit off and it's not at all fancy, BUT for the price, who cares? Also, the staff is wonderful and make up for any shortcomings- hats off to Hemi, she's kind and patient and any front desk would be lucky to have her!
Tips: There's no water in the minibar, but they have an almost unlimited supply at the front desk, there are vending machines with basic corner store staples, the signage throughout the building isn't great, but it's good to note that the lobby is actually on the 2nd floor, breakfast is a frozen breakfast sandwich.

Definitely an aged hotel, but not bad for the price. Bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was decent. I would stay again.

So I booked a king suite room two days in advance. Called and confirmed it's there and available. Only one of them apparently but it was available. Called again day before to make sure it was still there yes. Went in a paid the extra 25$ for early check in idk why if I'm paying for day.. but when I went to check in she said "we don't have that room anymore. Idk why it's on the website they need to update it" meaning the room doesn't exist there anymore. But got a small room with a king bed. Talked to another lady there she said yes we have that king suite available you like to move into it? So is my money no good here? Why so many lies and run arounds? I like to get away and be closer to west Chester and enjoy this hotel but don't enjoy being lied to lol. A refund would be nice but I doubt that would happen.Rooms: Might lie to you.
