I would highly recommend John! He fit me in with an emergency the same day, very friendly kind man that knows what he is doing! Had it fixed in no time and very reasonably priced. I even tried to pay extra since it was an emergency he graciously declined. Great affordable work and a great man behind the job!

We were visiting Wellsboro when my car began to overheat. I found John online and gave him a call. He told to me to come right over which I did. As I pulled in he came out to greet me. He asked a few questions, had me pop the hood and quickly determined the issue. He squared me away and had me on my way in a few minutes. I'm embarrassed at how little he charged. He was solid, honest and way more than fair. We drove home the following day (over 200 miles) with no issues. You cannot do better than John.

While traveling through Wellsboro, when we experienced mechanical problems. John was very helpful and squeezed us into his schedule to replaced the alternator. Thank you

We were at our cabin in Gaines when our daughter needed to be seen at Urgent Care in Wellsboro. When I pulled into the parking lot of UC, my brakes were not working properly. John was scheduled to close at 5:30pm and so graciously stayed open past closing time to inspect and diagnose the issue without hesitation while letting my daughter and I wait inside. He was so kind and accommodating. He fixed the issue and drove it twice. He was very thorough and I felt at peace driving back to Gaines. Thank you, John! You were an answer to our prayers and we are so grateful for you!

John inspects and services my van...even though I rarely know what it needs or when it needs it (including an updated inspection sticker!). Always helpful, friendly, efficient, skillful, and forgiving :-)

John took me back in time when your mechanic gave you quality service and made you feel like you’ve been friends for a long time. My ATV trailer bearings went. John went above and beyond repairing just one side. John did both and fixed a tire. The service was reasonably priced. I wish he had a garage near my home. I’ll be back if I ever need his services while I’m on the road in Tioga County, Pa

I travel. A lot. My work requires me to drive anywhere from Towanda to Sayre to Westfield. Today, I happened to be in Wellsboro when my exhaust's resonator literally just disconnected. I inched into a parking lot (very loudly, mind you) and took a look under to see the damage. I spent the next couple hours at work wondering what I was going to do; I was 1 1/2 hours away from home and the resonator disconnected from the front, meaning if it dropped it could do a lot of damage to the car. I checked for nearby mechanics and found three within a range I was comfortable driving with the broken exhaust. The first two had rave reviews on Google but, when I called, nobody answered. John's was the third and I was hesitant due to the lack of reviews and the single 1-star review (on Google). However, I made the call and he set me up with an appointment that day after I got out of work. So, after work, I drove over and passed the place once not knowing what I was looking for. My GPS yelled at me and I made a U-Turn, found it on the corner, and carefully found an empty spot in front of the building to park. John almost immediately came out and greeted me. Let me tell you, the 1-star review saying he's rude is so far from the truth; he was exceptionally friendly and we conversed over several different topics while he hoisted my car on the lift and got to work. It only took him 30 minutes to weld the resonator in place, fix the hanger, fix the rear clamp, and even shorten the rear clamp bolts so they wouldn't hit anything. As soon as the car came off the lift and was started, it was quiet again. What a relief! At this point, I was already elated knowing I could drive home only 30 minutes after leaving work and wouldn't be stranded but I knew the bill was coming. I wasn't sure what to expect as I've never had exhaust work done before but I was pleasantly surprised that it was far below what I was dreading! You have no idea how helpful that was; my job doesn't pay much and I'm living paycheck to paycheck while paying off student loans and back-taxes from mistakes the IRS made. I have almost no money to spare, so the fact that this repair was within my budget and I didn't have to put it on credit or make a payment plan just absolutely made my day. If I lived nearby, I'd come here for all my service needs. If you live nearby, I suggest you check out John's; you may be pleasantly surprised. =)

Really nice guy. Gave me what I asked for at a decent price with no surprises! Even gave me information for a different mechanic to do my alignment.
