The owners are a very nice couple from India, I think. I honestly go out of my way to shop here. It's quaint and the owners are good people. The chicken and taters are amazing as well.

Great store for chicken, great meals. Has daily use things, toiletries, tobacco, gas and propane. Friendly staff and nice family. Really helpful. Open 6am- 9pm everyday on time.

Well there's a lot of stuff here, all sort of stuff specially the food but be very carefully buying coz not just because there's a lot of Korean that doesn't mean your in a right place for Korean dish, never order ramen here they are just using instant noodles and just adding up egg and bit of veggies, the bibimbop is the worst in manna stall bibimbop in Korean air is waaaaay better, just saying don't be fooled, the bakery is good though that's it and stay away from their gelato it's not just expensive but it's old, because of its high price for 1 scoop cost $2.99??? It's a rip off, the groceries are good and the items

Bought a bag of snacks from Lotte at Ellicott City. It was opened and STAPLED twice. I doubt this was the work of a customer - who carries around a stapler? Must have been one of the workers. My family and I could not believe it.

Inside of the Lotte supermarket is a mini food court with lots of options to choose from. Very casual place that can accommodate a variety of different pallets. Korean and Japanese themed options. I'd go back if I want something quick and easy.

I think the selections are wide In variety and much cheaper than h mart. I actually enjoyed my visit at the Lotte market!

The fish that they sell can be rotten. Be very watchful if the guts of the fish have been taken out. In addition the workers who was there this evening at around 8.30pm was very rude when I asked to see the fish. (The way the fish is displayed a person cannot take the fish themselves.) They told me the fish section was closed! The manager hid when I went to complain. I later managed to get hold of him when he came out to talk to another customer. He came over to the fish stall and I was able to look at the fish and smell the gill area. it was bad.

I usually purchase meat or sea food from here. And sometimes Asian spices for Korean barbecue or Asian stir fry noodles. I am not super impressed by their meat. I love lamb so whenever I go there they usually have lamb legs but very thin slices of lamb and absolutely no fat at all. Most often than not I shop at the halal market where they cater to our liking but the days when Halal market is closed is when I prefer Lotte. They also have something called black goat. Not sure what this is cause I have never heard of it. May be I will try it next time and see if it tastes better than their lamb. Well, on a positive side, if you like pork then there's no other place better than Lotte market. They have all different parts of pork that you could ever imagine you could cook. You can also ask them for recipe if they are in a good mood. I love pork belly so i usually buy pork belly from here. Apart from meats, they also have veggies. Veggies look to be in fresh but I shop my veggies from Patel bothers. The only reason I buy lamb from here is because it's much cheaper than the halal place. I often do not compromise quality over quantity but sometimes I do. So if you want good quality lamb or goat then I would recommend any halal place.

They are your standard well stocked korean market with low prices and a very small profit margin. I suspect that leaves little to pay decent wages or pretty up the store. The parking lot is horrible. The whole plaza is very old and outdated. But the seafood produce etc is pretty good. Their ready made food hot and cold are great. I could go to the other store across the street. And sometimes I do. But after so many years I've gotten used to the pungent smells and coziness of the store. It makes me feel that I am really in Korea. Plus I already know where everything is and what they have. I don't know if I would feel the same in a new American style grocery venue.

I wish I had a Lotte closer to me, but I schedule any of my plans in this are to include a stop here at the closest Lotte location to me! They have a food court that makes your mouth water! Korean dishes that taste like homemade family dinner. Sushi available also. Even a smoothie and ice cream bakery. Food finds, clothes, chopsticks, cooking utensils, Kpop fan gear, cute stationary and toys. Some of my faves are Kimchi, pickled radish, mochi, shrimp crackers, seaweed, rice, mushroom powder, aloe juice, short ribs, coffee, fresh fruit and veggies, Korean pepper paste, rice cakes, and more. I always buy more than I planned on, but like I said, I have to stock up since I'm not close. And it would not be complete without a box of fish shaped waffle red bean with cream sandwiches. If you are up for a spicy noodle challenge, they got you covered! But always remember "what goes in, must come out" .... hot and spicccccccy
